I don't think they're "cheaping out". Their cart is set up to give you three plugins for the price of two and that's obviously written into some code that zeros out the cost of the cheapest plugin when there are three in the cart. The giant banner at the top of the page says "3 for 2". Note that the banner doesn't say "6 for 4" or "9 for 6", but any reasonable person should be able to infer that the deal can be had multiple times if he/she wants to buy some multiple of three plugins.Ceej wrote: Wed Feb 16, 2022 11:01 am [Note that SSL's shopping cart does the offer "wrong" - if you put all 6 in your cart at once it shows up at $145, but if you buy them in two separate orders (X-EQ2, X-Echo, and X-Comp first, then the other three in a second purchase) you'll pay $10 less overall. I hate it when retailers try to cheap out like that.

Been waiting for a new bass library from NI for a long time now and we have one now: SESSION BASSIST — PRIME BASS. Hint: Would be a good buy with a $25 e-voucher.
https://www.native-instruments.com/en/p ... rime-bass/
Looks like SESSION BASSIST is a new series of bass guitars (just like SESSION GUITARIST for acoustic/electric guitars) with PRIME BASS being the first. Very nice!

Afaik you can only add to the sample library while you have an active subscription, though you can still use it for finding samples you indexed afterwards.

You can also add samples if you buy The LoopCloud Drum App

Their support once told me that they were a sister company (or owned by?) Zero-G. Unfortunate, as they had good prices on some items, from time to time.Bleulander wrote: Wed Feb 16, 2022 12:53 pm Is It true that Time+Space ceases trading, I bought something from them a while back...

"I think you need an active subscription if you want add a new folder or samples that are in a different location than your scanned folders. New samples can only be added by copying them to an existing folder."
This is not the case. I dont have a subscription and never have. I move and add folders all the time in Loopcloud

If you get an old installer and NEVER upgrade again, it might work the "Add samples" function.

I have Loopcloud v3.2 installed November 2018. It allows any new content to be added to its data base. The content is then tagged and can be played back at the daw's pitch and tempo. I have never had a subscription to Loopcloud.becseigy wrote: Wed Feb 16, 2022 7:38 pm"From Loopcloud 6, free users CANNOT IMPORT new user-content to Loopcloud, and therefore cannot take advantage of the great new AI user-content tagging we've been working on."Kurdish Mayfield wrote: Wed Feb 16, 2022 6:59 pm "I think you need an active subscription if you want add a new folder or samples that are in a different location than your scanned folders. I wonder if this refers to saving imports in the cloud: I have never had an issue using local samples. From Loopcloud 6, free users CANNOT IMPORT new user-content to Loopcloud

The deal actually does explicitly say you can use it as many times as you want. What I meant by "cheaping out" is that the cart always zeroes out the cheapest item(s) in the cart. So if you buy six things worth $10, $20, $30, $40, $50, $60, it will only give you the $10 and $20 ones for free; whereas if you placed two orders for the three cheapest and three most expensive items, you'd get the $10 and $40 ones for free. It just forces customers to take the time to place two orders, or lose out on a discount they would otherwise get.cryophonik wrote: Wed Feb 16, 2022 3:43 pmI don't think they're "cheaping out". Is this the same for the bundles too? Not been keeping track. But upgrading a couple of R plugins to the R Maxx Bundle for £44 seems like a good dealOu_Tis wrote: Wed Feb 16, 2022 3:21 pm Waves seems to have pulled the good old "raise prices then announce a 'half off sale' which is actually worse than the sale that just ended" trick. For comparison, I once upgrade from Gold to Gold + RenMaxx bundle for < $30, which is the best ever price for this upgrade.re.mark wrote: Thu Feb 17, 2022 9:45 amIs this the same for the bundles too? So, £44 seems expensive to me for R Maxx bundle upgrade and not the best deal IMO. Earlier Waves used to have even 80% off bundles and upgrades, but these days it seems the best discount is 60% off and that too only once or twice a year.
