You could swap the samples of one of the active banks to try your custom samples. Anyway, we are going to update it to allow custom banks in the demo version too. Next week most likely.

Yes, we got a few reports of that (it either crashes or mutes itself) and it's due to samples that are less than 5 sec. There's an internal xfade that's 5 sec to allow for a seamless loop. We'll fix it asap and also implement more options over the internal xfade and the randomization of the start point.

So, for now, just use samples that are more than 5 sec

is there a maximum length? (before i start feeding it full length tracks...)

it's like standing in the centre of a multi stage ambient festival

i have heaps of samples of the ambient background noise from various spacecraft from sci-fi flicks... it's amazing how close they sound to some of Hainbach's machines. Can see how the sound and foley people arrived at these sounds in the first place.

this is quite an inspiring instrument for an absorbed synthesist. Dat's sum QUALITY NOISE

Well, Noises is an instrument so you can automate the trigger (or use MIDI input) for layering with other instruments. An envelope follower would require sidechain I guess?

Virtually no, but the samples are loaded in RAM, so I wouldn't overdo it

Yeah ... it's so likely that I would write out my email then add 6 letters including a second .com ...
