Thanks and kindly

I think RMS and K-Metering are in the free MLoudnessAnalyzer...?

I don't know if MLA has RMS but K-Metering is just R-128 biased to -16 LUFS integrated. When Bob Katz originally developed his K System, there was no LUFS iirc; he was using RMS. These days, it's all more standardized and few if any people are quantizing their systems or work to -12, -16, -20, etc. The exception being film and broadcast which are legally standardized around -23 or -24 integrated loudness.
If you want a VU-like response, check out the momentary loudness value. When the target is set to -20LU, its levels closely match a VU by another developer set to -18dBFS. For what it's worth, I have calibrated my entire system to K20 (using LUFS/Melda) and rarely have clipping issues during projects. On the contrary, I generally have my digital levels very low.
