Just looking to see if this is possible internally with Waveform Pro, instead of using another VST/AU to complete the task.

Are you expecting the ENTIRE audio output to stutter (audio and MIDI devices)? Put a digital delay on the master?

I was focusing solely on the audio output. The entire mix. I can create a sub-mix and run all the tracks through that, and then place MIDI automation over it (on/off patterns), but I was wondering if there was a way I could program a pattern in the Note Repeater, have that trigger the MIDI volume or even channel on/off.Peter Widdicombe wrote: Sun Feb 20, 2022 2:57 pm Are you expecting the ENTIRE audio output to stutter (audio and MIDI devices)? This is something that I use in Renoise quite a bit, as it's got a beat-repeater Tool.

You could take a look at using a Modifer. I'm guessing you would need to add a volume plugin to the Master Plugins section and modify the volume.

I don't know if Modifiers can be turned on or off or changed via MIDI or automation. To be honest, I think this is probably more the domain of a plugin.

Surely there must be consensus by now...
