Audio Balancer 2 -> 1. One path can be wet-FX, one dry-bypass, with different ways to change the balance between them, e.g. the above patch.
Ahhhh nice! I have a lot to learn I guess :D

FWIW, some people learn from videos & docs but I prefer taking apart MUX Presets (in MuLab and MuLib) to learn creative ways that others use modules.

Can you show a tutorial on how to use Note Dispatcher properly?
for some reason it doesn't seem to trigger the On/Off switch when C5 note is being played.

Note Dispatcher setup:
Mode=keyed
Special Key = C5

Do you want all the C notes to activate the same FX, all C# notes to activate a different FX etc ....or just specific notes. Also do you want each FX to cut off when a new FX is activated ?

Ugliness, however, goes right the way through

Here is the relevant doc page: https://www.mutools.com/info/M9/docs/mu ... dules.html
Search for Note Dispatcher.
Hope this helps.

I want that C4 will activate specific fx (switch on/off button), C#4 different fx...
C5 different... and so on.

From what I read, I still don't understand why C5 doesn't activate the ON/OFF button. :?:

Does the attach do what you need ?
The pads are there as an option, the fx will be 'activated' by the relavent note. You will need to set up whatever effect you want tho, I put some in as starters.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

I have a pal but he don't need to pay haha, no problem, hope you can work out how to expand it if needed. I put the synth slot there because the ambient piano mux from the default folder didnt have an event output, there may be more that don't so added the slot as an option.

Hey Jo

Using this technic cause some weird latency issues when there are plugins with latency that switched to dry...

the latency still take action even though the sound doesn't go through the plugin. :dog:

is there a workaround for that?

Post

No because it are all active modules, even when the balancer is virtually bypassing things.

But i understand your goal and i think i could be interesting to extend the Plugin Slot module with Bypass and Wet/Dry controls. That's something to be evaluated later, i've added a note on the (long) wishlist.

oh no,
I invested so much hours to find out that this is impossible :o
Thanks for adding it to the wish list, I hope this won't be too long though
