Hi
The Tracktion web site states Waveform has been tested on Ubuntu 18.04 and some plugins state 16.04 as their tested OS (e.g. DAW Essentials Collection). Ubuntu 16.04 support ends at the end of this month and 18.04, whilst still in support, is lacking quite a few modern features. As such is there a plan to officially verify Tracktion's Linux products to 20.04 LTS?
Personally I have seen no difference running on 18.04 or 20.04 but since stability in a DAW is key it would be good to know it is officially tested and supported.
Thanks
Nick
P.S. an official Flatpak would be absolutely awesome - what are the chances?!
Ubuntu system requirements modernisation?

Waveform is a single binary with very very few dependencies. And has only one non-runtime Debian/Ubuntu specific deps - libcurl-gnutls.so.4

OK - let's leave the Flatpak discussion for another time, but it would certainly be useful if the latest Ubuntu LTS is a formally supported platform.Kott wrote: Wed Apr 21, 2021 10:20 pmand loose jackd supportunholyeyebrows wrote: Wed Apr 21, 2021 8:03 pm P.S. an official Flatpak would be absolutely awesome - what are the chances?!![]()

Hi all. Revisiting this thread as I notice Waveform is in Flathub now! I've done a quick test with Fedora 35 with Pipewire audio and the Waveform flatpak can use Jack as a result. I'm assuming this is a community flatpak and not one published by Tracktion. Anyway I thought I'd post this in case this is of interest to others.
