Speaking of pedals, picked up another weird fuzz. An Industrialelectric generator 7446. Out of production, but TSP had one left and it was on sale, soooo...

For those unfamiliar with it, here's a handy reference guide with the older 'button' (rather than switches) version:

I wish they would make bigger 8 voice version. Programming this thing will not be fun at all and 4 voices exclude it as a pad machine (as an accurate emulation of JP).
Still, it can work great as trance lead/pluck machine. Of course if it's accurate emulation, otherwise I'll stick to jp6k plugin.

Ah, so its by Behringer. I saw a thumbnail of it on a YT video and couldnt work out WTF it was.

So basically seems like a microfreak-ish thing, but a very odd (and remarkably fugly) design, like a basement bargain Wasp ripoff.

weird call, Uli, weird call.

$49 for a 4 voice JP-8000? I don’t care what it looks like.
FWIW they also mocked up a Prophet VS clone in a similar form factor which is way uglier.
Image
but, $99 means I could hold my nose. Odd how it’s taken Behringer this long to notice the Volca.

Are you safe?

I Agree :tu:
I will get one of the JP-4000 and i am so used to programming sounds on my Roland FA and JD-Xi so i don't think this will be any worse :)

Damn, prices are super low. I like the idea that these will be affordable. Making the JP-4000 cheaper than a Pocket Operator or a Korg Monotron is going to make for a nicely competitive affordable synth market.

It appears the B have finally taken note of the korg volca line, and Modal Electronics 'Skulpt' and Craft Synths, and came up with an attempt to corner the mini electronic accordion (sans bellows) market. Too bad it's not a 'Mini-Wasp'

 Gorgeous beasts these are, plus added onboard fx and sequencer with pattern recall. Have you done the chameleon bass yet? I still haven’t tried it on the 2600, but the Behringer 2600 should be capable of pulling it off.

So far the ring mod has given me the most joy.
There is no manual, just a quick start guide...
However, everything is straight forward on the Odyssey except the sequencer, but it's the same one as on the Crave and I found a video on that. I am currently wondering if I can use it to send cv to Eowave and have a full Jam
My fist "classic" synth

Ha! I remember that old graphic.
I don't think it's too difficult to understand. The Sport Mod can do a crap load of different things depending on how it's patched but there are a pretty simple set of functions at it's core.. It does a lot of the same stuff as an SSG but has a lot of neat tricks of it's own.

I want one of these, so I better hurry up and buy an Arturia Keystep to help get over the temptation
