Hi all. Thanks for the release, Melda! I thought I'd start a thread in case anyone has comments; the other thread is about MDrummer but this one can be about anything.

I'm happy we have a marquee select on the eq bands. Interestingly, when the bands are grouped, the fields in the Bands panel remains unlinked. Maybe this is by design. I have to say that using the octave shift buttons would be easier if the bands were linked in that panel as well. Adding on to this, when you click a band, the group remains. Does anyone think that clicking a single band should release the group? As it is, you have to click the background to disable the group. Obviously, click and drag should keep the group but I feel like clicking one band should disband the group.

One thing I was wondering: is there no way to create parallel EQ in Meldaland? Maybe I've been watching too many Dan Worrall tutorials but it'd be nice to make custom Pultec-like curves.

I'd like to mention something else; not sure if it's a 15.02 issue or not. In MCabinetMB, Profile section, changing presets seems to do nothing after resetting the band. You have to first load a Band Preset. If you just reset the band, it flips back to the cabinet/easy view and Profile Presets no longer work. This seems to be a conflict resulting from MCabinet Bands thinking that a Device should be the Reset value.

Also, it seems that there's always some kind of impulse response happening in MCabinetMB. There is no way to make the Impulse Response side tab of the Profile Section zero out. My reasoning here is that you can't actually initialize the plugin to a state where bypass equals enabled.

I notice 15.02 have a spectrogram. but this spectrogram does not show time. it show the level in color from top to buttom display. Or is there a way to set a time so that for example buttom is level in colors at current time and top is level in colors 1 sec before ?. this way spectrogram work

EDIT: I mean sonogram. The sonogram in the EQ does not show time, but in the convolution it show time change of levels of the impulses

Dry/wet? haha now I feel dumb. I'm not sure that's the same as the way a Pultec works but I'll try it out thank you.

I might be experiencing slowed responsiveness when changing A-H presets. Also, when trying to automate the frequency in MFilter with reaper, I had to move the knob after creating the automation to get it to respond to the automation. I'll check back if it continues since sometimes I get weird issues for no reason that disappear the next day.

EDIT: Changing presets in MTurboDelay seems a touch laggy but not necessarily to where it's a problem. Also, I don't know why I get issues with reaper's automation sometimes but it's working fine now.

Can someone tell me how to do the new cymbal chokes in MDrummer, please? EDIT: I see it's a Drumset Editor/Drum List/Add/Type Of Drum. I take that it's a new slot to put those samples.

Also, what is MSF/Advanced/Voicing/Voices to kill/Last (same key)? It's a new feature but I don't see what it does.

Polyphonic (1 per note) works for me now. Not sure if it was just user error before.

There's a lot of stuff I don't understand. The last one I've gotten to so far is this:
"Custom GUI buttons can now generate MIDI notes to create drum triggers for example." but I don't see how that's done. That's all for today!

Is it just me or do the filter envelopes in the MSF Sampler module not do anything? I have them enabled but hear no difference. Also, for the Sampler/Samples/Advanced/Loop/Direction/Backward, does anyone else think it makes sense for the sample to play forwards first before looping backward? I know the help says the Loop options "controls the playback direction inside the loop region" but it seems like novel behavior. I haven't watched any tutorials on Sampler but I guess it's time. Thanks.

Something weird; maybe not. In MAutoDynamicEQ, analyzing a full mix, if I turn the slope to 9dB/oct, many of the frequency peaks that are higher in level appear clipped. While I understand that 9dB/oct is an unusual slope with which to view an FFT (which makes this behavior possibly incomparable), does anyone else think that the overall level of the display should be compensated down? After all, the overall level isn't near peaking so why does the FFT show as though some frequencies are? Thanks.

To tack on to the MCabinetMB devices preventing a real 'reset/init' of bands, with MADEQ, loading device presets also breaks the 'bandpass-listen' function. Maybe there's a broader conflict here between 'easy' devices and edit mode.

Further, I think MCabinetMB Profile presets is just generally having trouble. Maybe someone can try this preset and see whether they can change them after loading it:

Here's an old init preset I have saved where the Profile Presets do change. This is similar to the MADEQ issue where new updates that seem related to easy devices break old functionality in edit mode.

I'll add that, if anyone is having trouble with editing a particular plugin, I probably have an init preset for it you can use to regain functions; let met know.
