Softubes Fix products are super underrated! Likely because of the old interface, but the sound is great!chk071 wrote: Sat Feb 26, 2022 12:52 pm Despite remembering the high CPU usage, I got Softube's Fix Phaser in the current sale, after having demo'd it a while ago. That thing sounds so spot on nice and creamy, it's ridiculous. I already had that impression when I demo'd it, so, it always was in the back of my mind, but, I always hesitated because it really took a lot of CPU. Glad that I got it now, for the price. Using other phasers always felt like half the experience, and I always thought there's something missing.

I am almost certain the ‘fix’ plugins are not Modular compatible.fairlyclose wrote: Sat Feb 26, 2022 11:25 pmI am sorely tempted by it and the doubler/flanger which is also on sale. I stand corrected! If you filter for Modular compatible plugins on the website they don’t show. Is this a new addition?fairlyclose wrote: Sun Feb 27, 2022 10:28 pmyep, bought and installed and loaded up in Modular: flanger, doubler and phaserMaxwell Houser wrote: Sun Feb 27, 2022 10:12 pmFrom Softube website on the product page:SHall1000 wrote: Sun Feb 27, 2022 9:50 pmI am almost certain the ‘fix’ plugins are not Modular compatible.fairlyclose wrote: Sat Feb 26, 2022 11:25 pmI am sorely tempted by it and the doubler/flanger which is also on sale. About Modo Drum SE bargain and upgrade to 1.5.:
Even though audio deluxe probably wasnt supposed to be selling the licenses after the 1.5 announcement I don't think it's a fair way by IK Multimedia to treat the customers. If there is no version when advertising the product then it's unfair to suddenly treat serials different.
It's obvious that if the version said 1 then it would be reasonable to assume that buying version 1 would mean a paid upgrade to 1.5 og 2. Thats IK policy but there was no version number.
I hope I didn't lure too many into this "bargain".
And now that I am complaining I just hate their Jampoint system. The jampoints are a complete false advertisement because their prices are so high and with VAT added that the 30 pct. price reduction only give you the same price from 3rd party resellers or slightly above them.
And as a last complain I also hate that you can't register the products at IK multimedia's website but is forced to use their stupid custom shop app. So if you purchase from one computer and you use another one for production well then you have to switch even though you might just want to pay and register when seeing an offer on the web. If I could had registered at the website I could have seen right away that this was a serial for version 1.
Sorry about that false advertisement I made in the bargain thread. As I wrote there afterwards I got the serial at audiodeluxe and when registered it stated that the version was 1.5. I was too naive and believed that when purchasing Modo Drum SE without any version number stated then you get the current version like with Cubase. And the version stated in the Custom manager when registered was 1.5. But when reading the below I checked my account at IK's website and there was correctly as told only 2 drum sets.I bought this and can confirm that you -do not- get the new kits. It's an SE version 1.0 only license. It does, however, qualify for an upgrade to the full MODO Drum 1.5 package for $79.99 (at the time of this writing anyway).

I fell for the post in the other bargain thread that said I'd get 5 kits if I purchased MODO DRUM SE from AudioDeluxe. Turns out I only got 2 kits.
At IK Multimedia Crossgrade/Upgrade, they have MODO DRUM 1.5
IK's expanded physical modeling acoustic drum virtual instrument. Includes all 13 kits.
€79.99 excl. VAT
(€98.39 incl. VAT)
Would I be eligible for this Crossgrade/Upgrade? I have a support ticket in but who knows when it might be answered. I'm surprised at how good MODO drum sounds, so I'm thinking about upgrading (if possible).

This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.

I don't dare to give any advice on this one but if you are logged in and the price is that you must be eligible. Doesn't the IK website automatically calculate the upgrade price if you are logged in and have something to upgrade from? I have the same prices shown as you and I also registered the 1.0 SE version. If I log out it becomes $299 without VAT.
I don't know if that's an error because if you logout and compare versions its states that cross grades are $199 and updates from version 1.0 full version to version 1.5 is $79 without VAT.
But when Im logged in I cant upgrade to version 1.5 SE but only the full version. Version 1.5 SE is full price. So may its mistake I dont know.
Anyway its always something that you like Modo Drum.
And actually Im thinking of opening a ticket and complaining about not getting version 1.5. If I get any luck I will report back.
