OMG. Tracktion 2 info page now up! It looks fantastic!

I've seen the new feature list and T2 adds the following features

- the ability for user to change the color of the stop button
- the ability to check the internet for updates
- new "about jules" screen (projects, settings and edit sreens... all still there)
- vastly improved audio engine allows for up to .0042 extra tracks per mix on some cpu's
- new icon (now contains an extra cog)
- improved racks gui (now has emulated rack screws on the corners of each rack - optional
- a mixer

Hard to belive one developer could do all that programming alone...

Since when is a forum's primary purpose to be an information resource? More often than not, forums (in general, not specifically this one) tend to have much more misinformation than anything else.

I guess it depends. For me the primary purpose is entertainment. I guess you're right that it's official purpose is for information, but if posts like this one were against the rules, I know I wouldn't be coming around here very much.

Somehow I think cbit's real point is, obnoxious trolling doesn't equal to being funny. There's a fine line there I'm afraid.

I'm just pointing out what it says under the forum description.. hoax posts don't belong here since they're neither "discussing ideas or support issues".

If you enjoy them, they seem like harmless fun.. if you don't, they're irritating and get in the way of looking for genuine information.

Of course the Tracktion forum is filled with nonsense. There's absolutely no information about T2, and the current version is months old. Jules doesn't come by here anymore either. So what else are we supposed to talk about?
