I a bit lost with having multiple Mux children's parameters showing up together in a patent Mux. I tried several different things today but never got two child front panels together on a parent Mux.

What are the steps to achieve this?

Sure,
1_on the father mux enable "edit mode"
2_add "mux front panel" from the context menu
3_click on the children's mux front panel to add
4_undo.

You're right there are some issues with adding a MUX front panel to a parent MUX front panel. The M8.8.4 update has been deleted and M8.8.3 is back online. Please revert to M8.8.3 and delete any MUX front panel with embedded child front panels made with M8.8.4. I've taken note of the issue and will try to find a solution lateron. Apologies for the incovenient try-out.

Thanks guys. Will keep an eye out. In the meantime I will finish up with the mixer project on Mux 7 then do similar in Mulab 8. I will share the files when done.

not so great from my test..
too slow :/
nothing like the real thing.
waiting for vst3 support

edit: I bought Mux and I love it - it's great even without vst3 (so far)

Jo, i'm experiencing a daily crash on the mux that i use for monitoring.
I'm suspecting that is has to do with the latency and the "auto sleep", or so..
Im investigating this, but the proposite of this post is wonder if any one of us is experiencing something like that.

Is not easy to reduxing to a minimal project to reproduce cause, i don't know very well how it happens.

For whatever, i will report it if is possible.

MuLab 8.8.5 is available in http://www.mutools.com/mulab/beta/
Mux Plugin 8.8.5 is available in http://www.mutools.com/mux/beta/

What's changed:

MUX 8 Plugin now has 2 new functions: "Load Plugin Project" and "Save Plugin Project".
These allow to load/save the plugin data independent from the host project.
These functions can also help upgrading to MuLab 9 Plugin as M9 Plugin can open such MUX 8 Plugin project files.
Sequence editor: Stepping backward/forward the time of an event using the property panel sometimes didn't work right. Fixed.
Automation editor: Stepping backward/forward the time of a point using the property panel sometimes didn't work right. Fixed.
When loading MUX 7 front panels that use "Numeric Parameter Editors" there could be a size mismatch for this kind of parameter editors. Fixed.
Note Mapper: Copy-Paste didn't work. Fixed.
MuLab -> Tools menu now also has "Upgrade Other Presets" to upgrade preset files like Multi-Samples, Oscillator Layer Setups, Time Grids, Multi-Point Envelopes, Wave Shapes, ...
Modular Feedback Delay: When using a MUX as feedback module and when the MFD receives events while processing there was a sonic bug. Fixed.
Choose New Part Type dialog: Finetuned the usage of prefered user colors.
Fixed an issue wrt using an external audio editor to edit audio parts.
Multi-Point Modulator: Improper behaviour when used in a PolySynth and its event input was not connected. Fixed.

How to update MuLab 8:
Windows: Replace the current MuLab.exe and MuLab.ID by the new versions.
MacOS: Replace the current MuLab.app by the new version.

How to update MUX 8 Plug-in:
Windows: Replace the current MUX DLL and ID files by the new versions. (4 files in total)
MacOS: Replace the MUX .VST files by the new versions. (2 files in total)
