How do you make controls appear in Ableton's "configure" panel?

I'm trying to modulate the A/B ratio control in MConvolutionMB (15.02) in Ableton Live (10.1.42) on macOS (10.14.6).

Normally in the Ableton track, the device window had a configure button that opens the configure panel for the plug-in and that either shows all of the automatable parameters, or you click the control in the plug-in UI and it gets added to the configure panel.

With the MConvolutionMB the configure panel is empty, and the click-to-add behaviour doesn't work. I've tried searching for references to how you add these parameters and I can't seem to figure it out.

How do I do this?

Thanks.

Matt

In MConvolutionMB itself, if you map a multiparameter to a MConvolutionMB parameter, then name that MConvolutionMB multiparameter , does it then show up in Ableton’s automatable parameter list?
