Well, let's be fair, I'm not really "arguing." I'm really more kibitzing about this and that. Maybe some of that DRIFT technology will find it's way into my fingers and I'll drift away from this thread.
Drift(TM) please. Like TMT(TM).
Probably rocket science

And I'd have to assume anybody who thinks Syntronik 2 is a "basic" update and trivializes the updated editing, modeled filters and DRIFT probably didn't watch Erik (a true expert in the field, someone who was a lead on one of the most sought-after hardware synths, and someone who fully stands behind this product he created with great pride) in that video and probably didn't use Syntronik 2 very deeply.

I can confirm Syntronik 2 is sounding pretty nice, that's also why I'm using it.
The Drift joke though had to be done :)

Still there are some things which could be improved on the edit page, eg. the envelopes.

I hope IK soon fixes the GUI resizing bug I reported, it's pretty small on my screen right now, but at least it doesn't crash anymore.

Probably, it seems like there might also be some hitherto unmentioned DRONE technology as well.

Use OK product manager. There you can automatically download the v80 sounds and the application extra.

I need some help confirming a bug with Syntronik 2 and PluginGuru's Unify on Windows 10/11. Can anyone that has full versions of both programs please see if you can recreate this bug? Please load Syntronik 2 (VST3 or VST3) into Unify, open the Syntronik 2 window and then simply close the Syntronik 2 window by clicking the [X}. On my system doing this causes Unify to crash and exit in both the standalone and plugin versions of Unify.

Thanks in advance.

All good here on Win 10 21H2, using Unify 1.8.0 and Syntronik 2.0.2 (latest versions).

Seems to be similar to my crash. It was caused by the resizing function. Just leave it at a
smallest default size.

To reproduce in Ableton Live:
Set Syntronik 2 to not non default bigger size.
Open new project, drag and drop Syntronik to a track. Open GUI, select a preset. Close GUI. Drag another instance to another track.
Often this causes an immediate crash. Sometimes you need 3 instances, but mostly on the second instance it crashes.

This took their support almost 3 months to confirm including 2 team meetings I did with them showing it crashing live. I reproduced it on 2 computers. Both windows 10 and Ableton Live 11
Bug fix TBD and no known date yet.

Edit: this seems to be fixed in 2.0.2

Can't make it crash here. Tried running 6 instances of Syntronik 2.0.2 in Live 11.0.12. Can open and close and resize plugin windows at will, so far no problems.

Have you updated Syntronik to v2.0.2? I'm not running Live 11.1 yet.

Ahhhh damn, I think they may have fixed it recently. 2.0.2 wasn't out a few days ago:
This is probably my fix:
- Fixed an issue where a crash could occur on PC when closing a large window

I had Syntronik Deluxe and updated to Syntronik 2 SE. I also got the free copy of V-80 for Syntronik 2, so I installed the Sound Library for that. So since I already had V-80 for Syntornik Deluxe (and all of the 22 original synths), what is the difference for the V-80 for Syntronik 2? I was under the impression that all of the presets would now be able to use the 'Edit' function, but only a small selection of them will let me Edit them.
