Hi was just trying the free version of Mulab to see if it was worth getting and just wanted to ask a simple question.
If i draw a midi note in the midi editor grid and I hold it with the mouse and drag it
around how do I get it to monitor playback (as in play the sound as the midi note is dragged around)? In most daws this happens by default but mulab doesnt seem to do this I had a look in the settings and cant find a way to turn this on?

If you option-click (on mac; I believe it's alt-click on a PC) on a note the cursor changes to a magnifying glass.
You can then monitor any note.
You do not need to first enter a note, or move the note you previously entered to monitor it.

Thanks for the reply and for the help, it's appreciated.
Just out of curiosity has anyone tried or use Mulab on Ubuntu with wine? I saw on the website it says it works but just wondered what the performance was like compared to native Windows.
Cheers again
Rick
