As an owner of literally everything 2C this is depressing, I really hope you folks can sort this out because I'm feeling once again that the future of these products is in doubt.

I've been trying to resolve the conflict for ages for it's not possible to have any kind of meaningful dialog with a party who arrests your personal money for nothing and does this systematically (in 2017, 2020-2021 and 2022). I told Andrew many times that if he continues to ignore my vested interests the conflict will go online. He was warned many times. Since he arrested all my money that I earned in november, december, january and now february + (he refuses to provide to me all company expense records despite my many requests over years and he claims he pays now 500USD for just hosting web site, which is ridiculously high, which makes me suspect he PUT IN HIS POCKETS behind me a lot of money which we agreed would have to be spent on product promotion,...and when I asked to provide me with documents he refuses - more on this stuff in part 2 to be posted tomorrow). + The super cool trick he did about that agreement that he refers to, which was designed for different purposes...
And his calling me a *contractor* is himiliating to me especially given that I having award-winning alg optimized manually in asm for vector instructions, providing GUI/Plug-In SDK (3 YEARS OF WORK BEFORE 2CA started sales), and having come up with the *2CAUDIO* company name I invited him to to make a joint biz (not the other way around as he tries to picture) I provided him with a source of income for the first 3-5 years!!! And I've spent 5 YEARS of my life implementing purely his product KS (which epically failed financially) - I did not want that - I wanted to support users and make updates....
I absolutely have no more interest to have any kind of joint work/relationships with such a man. period. Point of no return has passed. I cannot stand that any more. Let him return all arrested money and stop online sales of all products that contain my code!!! Immediately. Right now. If he wants to sell products with my code please license my code from me properly.
I will post more detailed info tomorrow. Stay cool, stay tuned.

I was absolute not trying to accuse you of the geopolitical situation. That would be silly. I might be crazy, but I am not a fool. I was trying to wake you up, to make you realize that you should protect yourself, no wage personal wars, but I'm not a fool and I figured you wouldn't listen to reason.

2CAudio is a small company with two principle contributors, one primarily a businessman, the other primarily an engineer. They are at odds with each other over progress, relative contributions, and money. This has been going on for some time without resolution and, consequently, they are now airing their laundry in front of their customers and potential customers.j wazza wrote: Tue Mar 08, 2022 10:42 am i cba to read the whole thing does anyone have a short summary of whats going on? just a dispute over money? both claiming the other person took from them?
im a huge fan of 2c audio's software, its a shame to see this feud, hope they figure things out and both parties are paid fairly

fair enough if you dont want to work together anymore and want your money but i really hope 2c doesnt stop selling those products and that everyone is just fairly paid for their continued sale, seems beneficial to both of you too and if you could sort that without this becoming dragged out publicly for a long time it would put off less customers2ca wrote: Tue Mar 08, 2022 10:52 am I absolutely have no more interest to have any kind of joint work/relationships with such a man. period. i would definitely support your solo products!2ca wrote: Mon Mar 07, 2022 7:01 am Anyone who likes using the products I made and appreciates my contribution to Audio Plug-in Industry over past 22 years is welcome to write to me too to say "hello, Denis, I like what you have done and do and I'd like to see what else you could come up with...". Since I did not receive any money from 2CAudio sales since november 2021 due to actions of Mr. Souter I'm at decision point whether or not to continue to contribute further to Audio Plug-In industry. I have some pretty cool/novel ideas. 2CAudio was my primary source of income and since Mr. Souter does not want to send me my money that I have earned I have to find some other source of income. If I receive enough of support from users I might decide to work on my new audio plug-ins and release them by my own so no one could ever *grab* my property and manipulate me.

Drama between two parties and way too much dirty laundry to wash on the forum.j wazza wrote: Tue Mar 08, 2022 10:42 am i cba to read the whole thing does anyone have a short summary of whats going on? just a dispute over money? both claiming the other person took from them?
One side claims the other side didn't do the work and only took money.
Other side claims the other side didn't pay money and wants to take all the work.
Both sides claim communication was shit on the other side.
They both sort of acknowledge each others efforts.
Then there's 3rd party mystran that had some extra contract work in the past, which tries not to side too much but generally is making things worse not better.
When I said "i wish there was more communication from 2C Audio" this is not what i had in mind.
Looks like they need a mediator, but not mystran.

Hmmm certainly all a bit concerning, I just want to know if the issue I reported is likely to get fixed or not. No use in having the plugin if the settings don't get saved. I only purchased it last week so I guess I will be able to get a refund if it can't get sorted

when I invited Andrew in 2005 to make 2CAudio business together, I've already have had 5 years of experience in running of SpinAudio in which I came up with all product ideas and design (but not GUI pic/animations/font/layout), implemented most of the dsp and plug-ins/sdk code, did marketing, held all communications and user support. If here are SpinAudio customers they would confirm that. They know me. At that time I already know how to develop and market audio software properly.j wazza wrote: Tue Mar 08, 2022 11:46 amthanks, ive just seen they both posted claiming to be the main developer but i guess it doesnt matter too much what they each did as they both have a roleghettosynth wrote: Tue Mar 08, 2022 11:33 ami think dennis/2ca is the engineer and andrew is the businessman but I don't know the ins and outs of the situation
in 2005 Andrew was just selling some sample libs and MetaSynth presets online. He has had zero experience in real audio software development.
So the question who is developer and who is a businessman is not that simple.
If not that tradegy with SpinAudio Andrew probably would never become what he is now. Top reverb/spatial/innovative alg researcher, and good GUI developer. He learned a lot from me and what is important is that I provided initial source of income for him to fuel and fullfil his passion about audio dsp alg RnD.

Do you happen to know what 2CAudios refund policy is? I bought the PBJ Pack last week, but I am having issues with the plugin not saving setting between sessions when the link is being utilized. I have sent a video of the issues and asked about this stuff to andrew on Sunday. still waiting on a reply at the moment. I want to keep the software but if these issues cant be fixed, then I will have to opt for a refund if possible.2ca wrote: Tue Mar 08, 2022 1:42 pmwhen I invited Andrew in 2005 to make 2CAudio business together, I've already have had 5 years of experience in running of SpinAudio in which I came up with all product ideas and design (but not GUI pic/animations/font/layout), implemented most of the dsp and plug-ins/sdk code, did marketing, held all communications and user support. 1. I would help you but Mr. Souter blocked me from accessing support emails. I already posted a special test version of Precedence to people here in forum so they can provide me with the feedback since I cannot reproduce this bug on my system.Bubson wrote: Tue Mar 08, 2022 1:34 pm Hmmm certainly all a bit concerning, I just want to know if the issue I reported is likely to get fixed or not. 2. I'm the auther of 90% of the 2CAudio code so most of tech issues could be addressed by me only. Andrew does not have enough qualification for that. If he to use a third-party help for that he would have to disclose my IP to that party which I gave no permission to him. I really have no idea how he intents to provide technical support to 2CAudio customers as the codebase is extremely complicated and it would take a significant amount of time to simply understand how it works
3. Also I've been working on M1 ARM support and I have done 50% of the work necessary. If not Mr. Souter actions the M1 support would have been available to all people later this spring
4. on feb 27 Mr. Souter was notified that I grant no more right to sell online from his web site products based on my Intellectual Property (= all 2CAudio products) and he must therefore stop selling products online. So if you purchased past this date the purchase is considered by me as a matter of a legal dispute
But it seems like all his actions indicate that the only thing he wants is to grab as much money from new customers as long as he can providing no support and finally run away with it (my profit share for nov/dec/jan/feb that he arrested from me is not enough for him)

regarding refund policy I'd recommend to contact Andrew (andrew@2caudio.com)Bubson wrote: Tue Mar 08, 2022 1:49 pmDo you happen to know what 2CAudios refund policy is?
