Hello,
is there a way to scroll the tracks in the Mixer view with the mouse wheel (not select, just navigate) ?
I thought it would work, I was pretty sure it should work, but no...

Any idea?

Ok, so this topic becomes a Feature Request

Could it be possible to scroll in the Mixer view with the mouse wheel when there are many tracks?

If you hover your mouse over the scrollbar and then use the scroll wheel it should then horizontally scroll the mixer view.

@asprog, what does your mousewheel do currently while hovering over the tracks? Have you tried taking a look at 'Settings/Keyboard Shortcuts/Navigation' or 'Settings/General/Mouse to try out settings with what the mouse does? For me, while my pointer is in the tracks area and I scroll downwards, it scrolls through all my tracks vertically.

Same setting for me, works well in the tracks area.
But it's in the mixer view I'd like to be able to scroll tracks horizontally.

Does Shift-scrolling work for horizontal scrolling in the mixer area? I was trying to search the internet for horizontal scrolling and one suggestion was the one I mentioned here. Maybe pressing down on the mouse wheel will allow horizontal scrolling?

I tried it out after the first post and the scroll wheel did nothing on any part of the mixer view, so plenty of scope for the hoped-for left-right scrolling..

If Windows has a mouse that is similar to a Mac mouse, then side scrolling would be possible. I am on a Mac and use the side scrolling when horizontal scrolling is available on the software.
