Does MuLab's Piano Roll Have a Key/Scale Lock Feature?

I haven't found it, but maybe it's in there somewhere. If not, let's get that on the feature request list.
. It would be so cool to set the key/scale (with exceptions if possible) and then paint or play without worry of going off-key.

you can use the note mapper to play white keys (CM / Am) and map to other scales; and rename keys to paint.
fyi, MidiPipe seems a useful free midi-in utility.
personally, I find it rewarding to know a favourite scale (Steve Reich composes mostly in DM) and Suggester is a quality app for exploring chords in any scale

I'll check out MidiPipe. I do have Suggester as per your suggestion.
I wonder if ML can assign a key/scale and limit notes to that?
