Hi there everybody. Please excuse my stupid question. I'm a beginner at mulab. Can anyone explain how to perform a note slide in the piano roll editor? Thank you in advance.

Do you mean pitch bend or something else?

Some audio software allows you to glide the pitch of the notes when you set polyphony to 1, the glide happens when the notes overlap (Caustic 3 comes to mind), my guess is that's what musicsaint wants to achieve. The way you can achieve this will be dependend whether you are using a vst synth or internal Mulab modules.
If you use vst, your vst has to have a portamento option.
If you use Mulab internal modules most audio generators have a portamento option with some additional parameters like glide curve and poly glide.
So this isn't a matter of piano roll, but a matter of synth/sampler.

And if by any chance you are trying to make a riser sound effect, which can be heard in modern EDM before the bass drop, don't use portamento. Instead utilize pitch automation, as you'll achieve this faster than with portamento and doing it that way gives you more flexibility. (risers, uplifters, downlifters)

And if you record or automate pitchbend, limit the pitchbend in the synth to the number of steps in your slide, so you end up at the exact note.

Yes, that's what I'm looking for. Thank you all. I didn't use automation yet and I don't have a clue how to limit pitchbend in the synth but I will try to figure it out.

E.g., in the lower right corner of MuSynth under Setup is a Pitch Bend window with default of 2 steps. Most synths have a similar setting, sometimes called PB or Bend.
