edit:

oops...sorry...i stand corrected:
it is also happening in AU, hostingAU on the mac!

i forgot to switch to stereo mode
it does not happen in mono mode, but in stereo

so:
yes, i can confirm there are spikes (also on the mac)

sorry again for the confusion

Some of the other modules have noise burst issues when changing settings. The RONN module even in mono mode.

This is Windows vst2 version anyway.

The Big Muff at 2 stages just doesn't sustain like any of my muff peddles but at 3 or 4 stages it feels the closest of any muff plugin I've used. The Screamer and Distortion+ are terrific too. I really hope more vintage fuzzes get added (namely: a Tone Bender and Fuzz Face).

Gotta look for a donate link. Really want to kick some cash over for this one!

Thanks for the warning, I neither would want to blast my eardrums, nor my speakers. Thankfully I have an auto-mute plugin sitting on my master output by default and would advice everyone to do this too. Look for "Ice9 Automute" VST.

The below preset is a combination MXR Distortion+ into a Tube Screamer tone, into a Bassman EQ, with a Big Muff. I dialed this in on a Jazzmaster then going into the new Neural DSP Tone King. Note: the threshold on the Gate doesn't seem to be working as expected so I have it in the preset but it's disabled.

Just copy and paste the text into the plugin via the menu.

Here's another Muff preset. Great for sustained leads or just 90s indie/alternative rock.

Seems to crash in s1 (or at least make s1 unresponsive). Vst3 64 version.

Sounds really great until crash (we'll, still sounds great, hut screen is stuck).

Will do more investigation in case I'm wrong.

Does this run natively on M1 Mac?

Heads up everyone. The last nightly build seems to fix the noise bursts (on Windows at least). https://chowdsp.com/nightly.html

Thankyou Jatin!

This plugin is exactly what I'd given up trying to find! Insane potential here, even if there's some bugs currently. So many pedals I'd love to see split into Tone and Drive sections...the Metal Zone, HM-2, Hyperfuzz, HM-3...

I've just replied to Jatin again (I reported the spikes yesterday). I'm still seeing them - RONN generates small glitches when switching value, and putting it inline with the Tone King and changing stereo modes produced a +6dbFS spike. It's not consistent though and hard to reproduce, but it's still there. It's certainly a lot better than it was, the TK mode switching is fixed.

Yes, the gains are very high, but something is still not right.

Resurrecting this thread - do those who use this always include an IR at the end of the signal chain, or is there some amp emulation "built in" to the pedal modules? Any idea what the specs of the IRs must be to load into the BYOD module?

Thanks in advance!
