Hi, my name is Petr, I'm from Russia. I am against the war in Ukraine and have always hated Putin. I am shocked by what my country is doing. I am very ashamed and embarrassed by this situation. Russia's economy is collapsing, we are all isolated from the civilized world here. and in addition to all this I can't buy U-he plugins now ... explain to me why this is done? music is my hobby, for a long time I used pirated plugins, but over time I began to buy my favorites, now I use only licensed ones. And now, when I go to the U-he store, they tell me that plug-ins cannot be bought from my region. I would really hate to go back to using pirated plugins, but how do I get licensed ones?

Hi Petr,

the problem is not with U-He. The problem are sanctions that were imposed on Russia regarding SWIFT payments.
It basically means that Russian citizens are banned from making international payments.

It is not the fault of uhe, this is the consequence of the sanctions against russia for the war.
Russia has been disconnect from swift and Europe froze the money of putin and russian oligarc . They also confiscate boat/house ...
Are you aware of everything ?

Then don't. Just because you can't buy something it doesn't mean you have the right to steal it.

You're seeing the exact purpose of sanctions and that's to motivate average Russian citizens to rise up and convince your government to stop the war.

Then you can rejoin the civilized world.

Alternatively if U-he approves, perhaps someone outside of Russia could buy the plugins and then transfer the licenses to you but only if U-he gives their complete blessings and someone would be willing to risk dealing with someone who has admitted to being a thief in the past.

Sorry if that sounds harsh but sadly such is the world we live in now.

As you may know or not - the guys from https://lfo.store found a way around.

I was subscribed to their newsletter and was informed that they couldn't trade a nr of days ago..

..then another email arrived - it's all back to normal..

..don't know how they did it - but they did...

contact them if you don't care about what is going on..

at the same time I unsubscribed as I just find it hard to believe what this nation is capable of..

You might check here: viewforum.php?f=43 (Sell & Buy (+Special Offers, Deals & Promos)) for a private seller and see if they're willing to accept crypto.
It's entirely possible too that U-he may have this option available if you contact them.

Look guys, we think it's pretty bad for many people in Russia as it is. There's no call to add fuel to the fire.

I'll lock the topic for now, I don't really know how to figure out what to do.
