As a Reaper user I don't normally have to do this so apologies if any of this is wrong...The Noodlist wrote: Thu Mar 17, 2022 12:44 pm https://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=213501

Hopefully, someone might elaborate how to install this EQ in any DAW as a generic VST within ReaplugsIt not only for Reaper! Download the ReaPlugs Suite and use the ReaJS VST-Plugin to load the EQ or any other JS FX.
Download and install ReaPlugs, you only need ReaJS. A good idea to create it's own sub-folder (eg. C:\VSTs\ReaPlugs)
Download the zip file (ReJJ.zip) from your other link and locate the reeq.jsfx file.
Navigate to where you installed ReaJS and youll see an effects sub-folder (eg. C:\VSTs\ReaPlugs\JS\Effects). Copy the reeq.jsfx in there and any other folders that look necessary (I think there's often a dependencies one).
In your DAW, add ReaJS to your track.
Click load and you'll see reeq.jsfx ready to load.
Disclaimer: I haven't tried this, only have Reaper installed currently and the standalone Reaplugs haven't been updated for years so is possible newer scripts don't work in it.
If you do have issues, simply upgrade to Reaper

I hadn't heard of that one, thanks.
Does it work better than the (maybe aging?) reascripts? Though wold be a big advantage if it can compile js to standalone plugs, more convenient if you just want to use the odd one in another DAW etc.

Yep, load ysfx and point it in the direction of the .jsfx. Resize and mouse wheel functions might not work as expected.e-night wrote: Sun Mar 20, 2022 4:05 amYSFX is a VST that hosts JSFX plugins. The Noodlist wrote: Thu Mar 17, 2022 12:44 pm https://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=213501

^ Cool. I tried it in Live and ran Reeq fine. Out of curiosity I also tried Reascript and that threw errors, maybe the js scripting has moved on and reascript hasn't..?

20 free kits, what's not to like?
There's also a piano, ethnic instrument, bass, guitar, electric piano and more.
