Just wanted to throw out my 2 cents after using this plugin for a bit- I think it's fantastic.
Never had to deal with the developer but I used it pretty extensively in Logic and it works well.
Really interesting results to be had once you navigate the GUI (didn't take too long). I will say, the whole system is much more geared towards the distribution of the notes in time rather than their pitch. There's lots of control and many surprises to be had when it comes to when/how the notes are played, but the way their pitch is determined doesn't feel quite as revolutionary or malleable.

Any additional experiences?
I am quite interested in this plugin (resp. all similar sonic-lab plugins) especially in cunjunction with reaper.
Thanks a lot in advance

I own it and the Cosmos f series and love them all. Never sprung for the *Bot ones.
But to be honest, to me personally it's more about exploring the plugin and stochastics it models than achieving a specific musical result I might have in my head. But I'm a fan of chaos theory and all that stuff so it's right up my alley.
Not sure about lack of pitch distribution, I'll have to pay more attention next time.
The downside is their price. I'm glad I sprang for cosmos f when I did. I always wanted a midi version, so when m31 came out I jumped on that but have only recently started exploring it.
I've had nothing but good experiences with Sinan myself. I remember the controversy over a few people's experiences a few years ago when Cosmos f came out, maybe he was in a bad place at the time. He did collaborate with Hainbach, who is like the Mr. Rodgers of music youtubers.

Just learned the annoying way that all SonicLab products are obviously
NOT FOR RESALE
despite being iLok protected.
At least the Fundamental license is NFR.
I understand that developers do not want to have the hassle with transfer dealing because clients are sometimes a bit complicated. I understand that (if they allow transfers) they charge some money for it. But to protect it with iLok and then to forbid transferring via the iLok process is somewhat ridiculous and disappointing for me.
So think twice before buying SonicLab stuff!

This sheds some light on the GUI. I'm not really a customer, my approach would be to read the paper and roll my own note generators in max/Reakt0r/something.
