I noticed that the built-in metronome in Waveform always reads the BPM value as a quarter beat only.
For example, if I take 120 BPM 6/4 - I will hear exactly 120 clicks per minute.
But if you change the second number of the time signature (beat duration), for example, to 6/8, then the Click will start beating 240 beats per minute.
Because Click always counts the tempo in quarters, and it turns out that 120 quadruple notes = 240 eighth notes.
It turns out that I need to set the click duration as an 8th note.
Looks like Tracktion Waveform doesn't have this feature right now.
Maybe someone knows how to do this without changing the time signature of the project?
Because if you change it to 6/4, then all notes in MIDI clips will stretch twice.
Or how to make sure that when the time signature of the project changes, it does not change the content?
It will be great if in the new version of Waveform it will be possible to separately change the duration of the Click.
THANKS!
