Yes it does, just got 4 plugins for $40. It will also show a notification in your cart before checkout to let you know that you're eligible for the 2 for 2 promotion

Exactly. That's the reason why I haven't purchased anything from Toontrack for years. To force a customer to upgrade or lose the benefit from having paid a substantial amount of money for an earlier version is like giving you the middle finger.
On top of that it seems like their sales are not as generous as before and their overall prices have risen.

I still use Superior 2 when I need to, luckily I don't need it that often. The upgrade cutoff still hurts after all this time. SD3 looks really great but it is hard to give them money after that.

Post

I have SD3 and I used to pick up EZX expansions regularly when they had intro/sale prices around £25/30 euro, but the current 75 euro RRP is just too steep as even a 40% sale they charge 45 euro so consequently I just don’t buy them anymore at all. As for SDX, well that’s just silly money.

No, the CR8 is excluded.
From the Waves "March super sale 2022 terms & conditions":

"$29.99 pricing offer does not apply to the following individually sold plugins:
Abbey Road Studio 3
B360 Ambisonics Encoder
CR8 Creative Sampler
Clarity Vx Pro
TRACT System Calibration"
When I add CR8 to my cart (along with Clarity Vx), the cart says I am eligible for 2 free plugins. Maybe a glitch?

I already own CR8, but just thought to mention it for others.

Tip 1: Make sure you log in to your Waves account and go to this link https://www.waves.com/free-plugins-marc ... -sale-2022 to hide the plugins you already own before you make any selections. Also, make sure that you don't end up buying something you can choose for free and buy something else instead. For example: They excluded Greg Wells MixCentric from the freebie selection this time. So, note such trickeries to make the deal actually beneficial.

Tip 2: If you own a plugin that is still on V11 or older, this is a good time to get it again (buy or for free if available for selection) and jump to V13 to benefit from the OS support, scalable GUI (however it is!) and any other bug fixes related to the plugin.

Here are the release notes for Waves versions if it is useful to review: https://www.waves.com/downloads/release-notes#v13

It looks like CR8 is excluded from the $29.99 price (because it's already cheaper than that), but it DOES count towards the buy two get two free promotion. So you can get four plugins for a total of $39.98.

Me too, I have a complete order of Accusonus's plugins, which serials were not emailed to me in the latest re-email campaign, and are not acknowledged despite their original emailed confirmation being received at purchase time.

Have already sent two emails, both using their active online contact form and directly to their email. No single notice or response has been received so far...

At the same time I do have other of their plugins being recognized Ok, of which I received confirmation of their serials via email a few weeks ago.

///I do love Accusonus plugins and value very much their unique functions. This acquisition could turn into very bad news for those who realize and need what these may accomplish and have not had the chance to acquire them already.
I've got my answer, as below. Fortunately it wasn't expensive purchase, however I don't understand how they can get away with this...
We have now stopped new key generations and/or allowing any new activations. Since you have never activated your product in the past, the key now has expired.

This operation is irreversible and new keys cannot be added.
NO THEY CAN'T
I received same answer for an order of 3 plugins, one including all available extensions.
NO WAY.
I have been carefully saving and investing for years, decades, so now only recently got a set up, including the software and computer and gear that finally allows me to do what I had craved on doing all along... And some of that software are an essential part of it, nowhere else so far with an existing replacement.

And we come to find out that now rich kids want to wash away their past debts and end all related action, all because they have sold to big META daddy!!!

///This is truly disgusting and if the world would not be in such distress, such a just claim would not go unpublished and would get into a point that some of these now Big Fish would dedicate some of their time to find a fix and so honor their yet not extinguised obligations.

But not, this will not stay like this. I have the right for that software. Bought it and will not give up on such, because of an email response.
Actually a communication so disrespectful with their prior commitments, lowers their reputation to whatever endeavor they go next. Which is a pity because I was quite fond for years of Accusonus developers and their customers treatment... until their marketing hiring a couple of years ago.

It is very sad that quite a fine team of developers' and creators' reputation gets tarnished in such a bad way by the usual suspects (marketing people) again. But their actions, in case they do not correct course, are so despicable in terms of loyalty treatment and so quite possibly fall into obvious illegal territory. This looks like a clear case of breach of a contract. Something that not only the law but also customers protection agencies and associations would denounce.

So, if someone else share this situation lets connect and find a way to escalate this to the proper channels. Advice is very much welcome.
Thanks in advance.
I do have proof of purchase and all associated emails.

Teebacca wrote: Fri Mar 18, 2022 9:02 pm Small vent regarding the izotope flash sale:
Been hustling on this forum to acquire komplete 13 for a good price over the last few months lol. Found K-select first at a good price in the forum. And as an owner of izotope’s production suite 4, I saw that there were some nice loyalty combo deals between them and NI. So I chatted in to Izo support a couple weeks ago, asking if they also offer loyalty discounts on NI komplete upgrades through the limited partnership. At the time I asked, they only offered the full bundle suite (music production suite + Komplete full) and no upgrade deals on NI products.

Fast forward to this week, I found the komplete 13 full (upgrade from select) on the forum at around the typical NI black friday or Summer of Sound price. Snatched it up. Awesome, finally.
Literally THE NEXT DAY I get a st. Patty day promo email from Izotope offering a loyalty purchase of the FULL NI Komplete 13 standalone version (k-select not required) for a significan discount off the retail price the code “LUCKY.” Since I was a production suite owner/loyalty member. In addition to 10% off other items. Patience pays off, I’m now out $100 as a result of buying before this surprise flash sale. Who saw it coming? (Sigh)

Sure I’ve learned a few cool things in checking the forum every day, waiting for a good deal on komplete; learning how to utilize the forum, but posting this deal in case anyone who fits Izotope’s criteria for this offer also is looking for a good deal on komplete and wants to skip all the upgrade madness. Maybe I’m uneducated on how much interaction these companies had which each other over the years, but posting my story in hopes that it will help someone out there understand the highly unpredictable nature of the audio plugin industry lol.
Also for anyone that got the St. Patrick’s day flash sale email titled, “Lucky you! Get KOMPLETE 13 as a standalone”, the code may work to “get an extra 10% off anything in the iZotope store, including sale items.*” but not on Komplete 13.

I tried at checkout. No luck! :hihi: Still good sale, though. The fine print says,

*Saint Patrick’s Day 10% Offer available on any product except Native Instruments KOMPLETE bundles and standalone products, iZotope subscriptions, and iZotope academic SKUs. Offer available through 11:59 PM PT on March 22, 2022. iZotope Everything Bundle and Native Instruments KOMPLETE 13 Bundles are available through 11:59 PM PT on March 31, 2022. Native Instruments KOMPLETE 13 Standalone Offer(s) available through 11:59 PM PT on March 31, 2022. Mix and Master Sale Offer(s) are available through 11:59 PM PT on March 31, 2022. Offer(s) are subject to change at any time.“

Even less than $39.98 if buying CR8 and VU meters or a “One Knob” plugin. :hihi:
