I'm not sure why nobody asked such question (I searched for size in the forum without no obvious result). I'm having serious problem with window sizing for all my melaproduction plugins. The following is my system spec:

meldaproduction version 15.02
MacOS 11.6.5
macbook pro 16" late 2016

In Cubase Pro, because it can only use VST, I guess it is using VST3 version of the plugin. In either Cubase 11 or 12 the window size will get smaller and smaller each time I close and re-open the VST window.

In Ableton Live Suite 10, for VST3, it looks terrible when first time loaded the plugin, only part of the GUI is shown in the window, when I try to resize the window it will refresh back to normal, but after I close the GUI and re-open it, the window size will change and also just show part of the GUI.
For VST2, it looks normal in the first load, however, when I resize it to the size that I want, after closing and re-opening, it will always restore the size when the plugin was loaded in the first time.
For AU, there is nothing abnormal in window sizing. Except resizing window the GUI refresh slower than VST format. I generally avoid using AU format for portability issue.

Melda, please let me know how I can solve this issue (Cubase is in higher priority). I can't afford resizing the window every time I open the plugin GUI.

Thanks

I assume you have discussed it with the support now. Anyways I also assume you have a secondary display with different DPI. There it's a damn mess on macOS. Generally it seems that every DAW is doing something different and it's almost impossible to make everyone happy (some of them don't even solve it anyhow..), so usually Logic is the final "judge".

I'm just about to start a case to support. By the way, yes, it is true that I've a secondary display with different DPI. I remember when I was using around version 9 - 11 I did not notice about this issue. Probably because I was having same DPI for both display? The setting now is "default" for both display. I don't quite remember if I got different settings years ago.

Yes, it the DPI is the same, then it usually works fine. The problem is, on macOS in order to actually use the resolution, one needs to sort of hack it and then every pixel matters. Unfortunately what some DAWs do is completely erratic changing of size of the plugin (doubling it, halving it, jumping from one screen to another which makes the macos switch dpis...) and the result is, well, kinda undefined.
