They are already here

Yes but they haven't addressed the idle CPU issue in Dan's two posts. That's the subject of my support request.

Not to sound like a legend, but for each app it took me 5 seconds to find how to resize them. Interesting you couldn't find the menus...
Yeah, I didn't spend much time looking actually, as I don't intend on using them. I did demo Opsix for about 15 minutes.

3 dots on the right for all options- same as UHE plugs I think? 3rd item down in menu, resize
Ha, oh yeah! Silly me, I went to SETTINGS looking for it!

Out of the 2, I prefer the GUI of the Opsix, For that reason, I didn't look any further with the Wavestate so can't comment on that.

The Opsix seems quite cool, but tbh, I would much prefer to use Serum, Dune, Pigments, Avenger, Hive, etc.. with better GUI's, the sound isn't any better than these synths either.

Now I can see it, I am going to have another look.

Also, they were glitching and going slow in Reaper, it made them unusable for me. Did anyone else have performance issues with in Reaper?

The price is high in my opinion.

Edited this after finding the "stupidly obvious" resize menu!!
There, I changed that. Was a bit quick I think and having another look. Still a problem in Reaper though.

What's the licensing model for the Korg software synths? Can you install on multiple computers?

From their website:

"Customers are permitted to activate it on multiple computers, so long as they do not use it on more than one computer at once. For example, it can be installed on both a desktop and laptop computer. However, this is on the condition that the customer uses it themselves, and that they do not use it on multiple computers at once."

I don't know how many problems people are seeing with these, but to me, they seem half baked.
Lots of beta testers for it now though. :hihi:

I don't need it but want it, and afraid to plunk down $149 for it and in a few months it is part of a Korg Collection 4, where the $149 will give me way more bang for the buck.

Doesn't look like either one has been added to Collection 3 yet so no telling what the future holds. I missed out on the Triton introductory price and have never seen it again so I'd hate to miss out again.

But purchasing now might give a nice discount on Collection 4 so it's kind of roll the dice at this point.
Dan P responded to me on gearspace. Can't speak for the future but it is currently not thought as parrt of Korg Collections.
I had no other choice at this point :)
And bought it.

The only problem I've encountered so far is the idle CPU issue but yea it looks like KVR is engaged in public beta testing again.

I don't necessarily have a problem with that if the developer is then engaged with the forum, acknowledges the reports and works on updates.

Opsix looks finished to me, but it's lagging in Reaper.

Yea I might just have to roll the dice and go for it before the intro price expires.

Did Dan address any of the other concerns at Gearspace?

The Korg collections are pretty much 'legacy' so maybe (when they bring out Modwave native) there will be a 'contemporary' collection!
X32 Desk, i9 PC, S88MK3, S1, BWS, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6 Pro3, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone II, OP1-F, OPXY, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

I'm trying out the demos. Opsix (the UI) has a terrible lag in Cubase 12, and a little bit in FL Studio 20. (Win10x64.21H2;i6700)
I'm not going to buy them anyway - not at this price. (I'm not saying that they're not worth it)

Trying to program the Wavestate (without manual) feels... overwhelming. (context: I can work with the Wavestation, and most plugins don't require the manual, for me)

Interesting, the lag in Reaper is very bad also. Just wanted to make sure it's not me. :D

Wavestate seems to work ok here (Windows 10, Ryzen 7 5800X) with pretty low CPU usage, but I wish there was a way to map the joystick to my controller.

Opsix seems to peg the CPU at around 38 to 40% just by starting it but doesn't seem to change much when you actually play some of the sounds.

However, both sound excellent and are severely hampering my GAS resistance :)
