Hello!
Thank you so much for the new Waveform 12. It's a great update! I've got a feature request. Would it be possible to implement the new "modify notes" feature as a non-destructive MIDI plugin? Think of it as an actual MIDI Arpeggiator or MIDI Note repeater kind of stuff. It would be nice to have nice, polished clips with all that "humanize" feel on it...
Thank you.

The modify notes feature can move notes both forward and backward in time.
I believe a plugin such as you are requesting would only be able to move them forward in time.
Consider that if applied to MIDI being captured from a live instrument the plugin would not be able to cause a note to start before the musician had actually played it.
Because of this there would be differences between the plugin and the "modify notes" feature as it currently exists.

I think it would be possible adding an "artificial latency" or "offset" to all tracks equal to the set range. Then it could work. I believe Cubase can "humanize" notes both ways already (and non-destructively). Also, the plugin is considered to shift recorded and quantized notes, not a live input of coursefde101 wrote: Thu Mar 24, 2022 8:39 am The modify notes feature can move notes both forward and backward in time.
