I literally just renewed my plan this month...chrisstiles wrote: Thu Mar 24, 2022 2:07 pm Bitwig have an offer in their newsletter, renewals before the 4th of April get XLN XO for free. Presumably if I don't absolutely need XLN XO it's going to be cheaper later in the year anyway? And by the looks of things there won't be a major update in a while.

Already have MPS 4 and Komplete Ultimate 12 but can't see an offer to upgrade on either Izotope or NI.LoveEnigma18 wrote: Thu Mar 24, 2022 11:51 am Not sure if this was mentioned before, but if you have an iZotope account you likely still have NI Komplete deals in your loyalty offers section. Even the full versions of Komplete 13 and Komplete 13 Ultimate are showing up at 50% off for me. Remember that full versions of Komplete are never 50% off, so this is the best chance rather than risking a second hand purchase. I think the deals end on 31st March.
Worth checking your iZotope account and grabbing either of them if available and interested, and then update/upgrade to Komplete 14 later this year (not 50% off updates this time, of course).

Not Komplete updates/upgrades, I mentioned about full versions of two Komplete 13 bundles. Just in case you misunderstood.shonky wrote: Thu Mar 24, 2022 2:31 pmAlready have MPS 4 and Komplete Ultimate 12 but can't see an offer to upgrade on either Izotope or NI.LoveEnigma18 wrote: Thu Mar 24, 2022 11:51 am Not sure if this was mentioned before, but if you have an iZotope account you likely still have NI Komplete deals in your loyalty offers section. I don't have MPS 4.1, but I have K13U CE. I do have the $199 MPS 4.1 offer. I think my NI and iZotope emails are same, so guess it might have to do something with my loyalty offers. But the Komplete 13 bundle discount should be same for everyone I think.

I assume it's timed to coincide with the end of tax year. Is this a new thing? As I see Arturia also have an offer on with the same deadline.SirKen wrote: Thu Mar 24, 2022 2:21 pmI literally just renewed my plan this month...chrisstiles wrote: Thu Mar 24, 2022 2:07 pm Bitwig have an offer in their newsletter, renewals before the 4th of April get XLN XO for free. I have an update plan serial I haven't registered yet... I'd jump on this if I hadn't just gotten Waves Cosmos. Still haven't installed it though---it's supposed to be slow, and XO faster. But Cosmos supposedly has better tags than XO. Not sure the sequencer and sampler in XO is worth it---my update plan just expired in January, and even buying at the cheapest price I could find, $110 / year for Bitwig seems too steep, money's getting tight for me, and I'm not all that keen on the new features.chrisstiles wrote: Thu Mar 24, 2022 2:07 pm Bitwig have an offer in their newsletter, renewals before the 4th of April get XLN XO for free. Is the XO license NFR?

Huh, of course Komplete full versions were 50% off always on Black Friday (but not last year I think).LoveEnigma18 wrote: Thu Mar 24, 2022 11:43 am Not sure if this was mentioned before, but if you have an iZotope account you likely still have NI Komplete deals in your loyalty offers section. In June usually upgrades/updates are 50% off.
They may be changing their strategy. But usually when Komplete was released, it was *after* the upgrade deal in September/October.

Apparently XO is more of a drum (and to a lesser extent bass) sequencer with a lot of premade patterns. But it wouldn't be able to access my Addictive Drums samples unless I go through and render them? Wish they would change that....
Of course it won't be able to access my Groove Agent samples (and I have a lot of those). Rendering them all to .wav would take a long time and be very tedious, unless automated (AI which can understand gui and instructions... will hopefully arrive in my lifetime). Downloading all my Loopcloud samples would also be tedious (especially since they're from hundreds of different packs).
Still could be convenient, especially since they have midi drag. But I'm not loving the sequences it comes with---best I can think is "maybe if I change the tempo and edit the midi". Seems like it might be usable though. Plus there are expansions.

Cosmos is more like ADSR or Loopcloud but actually seems to listen to files it scans. But doesn't do MP3s.
XO is very different. Like Atlas. Primarily for drums. And as such has drum sequencer and patterns built in.
Cosmos is just for arranging your sample library.

Does Peter from IK Multimedia still hang around here?
The upgrade to MODO Bass sounds interesting, but I'm wondering until when the upgrade price of $150 will be available. It sounds like we won't be able to demo it until April.

Full versions never are, at least not in the last 10 years. It's only updates/upgrades that are 50% off. During the last Black Friday they discounted the updates/upgrades by only ~ 30% rather than usual 50% off. The 50% off sale is indeed in June month following the year in which Komplete is released. So, as per trend, Komplete 14 should be out in Sep/Oct 2022 and the "updates/upgrades" will only be 50% off for the first time in June 2023. Then, in Black Friday 2023, they will be again 30% or 50% off. And then again in June 2024.dermage wrote: Thu Mar 24, 2022 4:52 pmHuh, of course Komplete full versions were 50% off always on Black Friday (but not last year I think).LoveEnigma18 wrote: Thu Mar 24, 2022 11:43 am Not sure if this was mentioned before, but if you have an iZotope account you likely still have NI Komplete deals in your loyalty offers section. Yeah, just checked, you're right. I was of the impression that they were, but only the single products were on sale on Black Friday, not the bundles.LoveEnigma18 wrote: Thu Mar 24, 2022 5:55 pmFull versions never are, at least not in the last 10 years. Thanks for that! I bought it but was using the regular size GUI which is a bit small.

What's the lowest price available for the upgrade to V Collection 8 for Pigments owners?hersisson612 wrote: Thu Mar 24, 2022 2:41 pm Arturia V collection 8
Very good deal for Pigment owner: $150 for V collection 8
Log in at Arturia to get the deal.
Valid until April 4th
Does it change anything if one has Analog Lab V and Pigments? I don't currently own Analog Lab V.

I had FX2, pigments and lab v (plus the freebies from the past 2 years). My upgrade was $150. I sold lab v for $30.DanielPL wrote: Fri Mar 25, 2022 11:50 amWhat's the lowest price available for the upgrade to V Collection 8 for Pigments owners?hersisson612 wrote: Thu Mar 24, 2022 2:41 pm Arturia V collection 8
