When CC messages from a hardware controller are assigned to Zebra parameters with the midi learn function (ctrl click), the parameters are changed. One has to turn a knob to tell Zebra which CC is used, but this immediately alters the parameter setting.
It would be better if Zebra ignored parameter changes in midi learn mode, because otherwise it is not possible (or very difficult) to save the preset with its exact initial parameter settings AND the assignment of the CCs.
