MSoundFactory - saving plugin state....

It would seem that because of the complexity of MSF that its state cannot be rolled up and saved within a VST host.
I'd happily like to be proved wrong and it'd be an awesome workflow helper if it could.

(I'd like to point out that Mulab 9 Plugin is a complete modular daw with clip launch and that is entirely capable of saving its state)

What do you mean by 'save its state'? Like, all the toolbars expanded/collapsed or showing which popup is open? I think the closest you can get is whatever is saved with 'set default settings' and I believe much of that isn't included.

I mean everything.
You start you DAW project, add MSF. Experiment with MSF then save the DAW project.
Next time you reload the project and open MSF everything is just how you left it.

My guess is that this Mulab thingy of yours doesn't actually save the state, but only the list of parameters, which is certainly not enough here. Please contact them for support. I'm fairly certain saving/loading works as expected in all major hosts out there.

I have to eat humble pie.
I swear for several attempts within my host, Cantabile, I came back to a productive MSF sessions to find it wiped. I have just tried it again and it does save the state.
