xerisonic wanted to purchase my Sonnox Claro license. Before proceeding with the transaction I asked if they were aware of the additional fees Sonnox charges for license transfers, and they posted to my sale thread claiming that I was the one who was suddenly charging more, which is not at all what happened. They were clearly not aware of the additional fees Sonnox charges and if they didn't want to move forward with the purchase after finding out, that's totally fine, but to post in my sale thread that it was me trying to charge extra money is completely false.

After many years of being on KVR and many smooth and easy sales transactions as both a buyer and seller, I've never had this happen.

mustgroove is quite correct in all of the above. I am ashamed, daresay tortured by the thought, that I was "clearly not aware of the fees Sonnox charges" that mustgroove had not yet disclosed in mustgroove's listings or prior communications. In the future, I will try to keep up-to-date with all 7,937,561 plugin developers' resales policies.

I hereby proclaim to mustgroove, mustgroove's affiliates and counterparts, and indeed the entire KVR community, my most profuse apologies for offending mustgroove's high level of awareness of all plugin re-licensing policies.

I encourage you to do as mustgroove suggests and visit mustgroove's sale link, so you can see for yourself what mustgroove is so worked up about. It's a bit amusing, I mean, appalling to see what happened here.

I would note that, typically, sellers with such exacting knowledge of resales and re-licensing policies would post this information up-front in their sales listings, as a courtesy to potential buyers. For example, I strive to include mention of such incremental fees in sales listings I generate. This mustgroove neglected to do, waiting until the third round of private messages to mention the fees involved.

I too have experienced many years of utilizing KVR to complete smooth and easy sales transactions as both a buyer and a seller, and only one other time do I recall encountering such an intense individual. I would proffer that, if you have the distinct future pleasure of transacting with mustgroove, be prepared to adhere to mustgroove's strict demands that you be absolutely precise in all communications, lest mustgroove publicly accuse you of "false claims."

mustgroove upholds communications precision standards for all of KVR, and for that I am thankful. You should be, too.

After we agreed on a price, I wanted to make sure xerisonic was aware Sonnox charged additional fees, so I sent this follow up message:

I wanted to check before the sale went ahead, and I'm glad I did.

Please note that mustgroove requests £25 to cover license transfer in addition to the sales price of the plug-in.

I never requested any additional money at all. What I did was check whether xerisonic was aware of Sonnox's fees for license transfers, before any money changed hands, and I think that was pretty reasonable on my part.

I'm trying to be straightforward - to point out what actually happened, that xerisonic's post in my sale thread totally misrepresents what actually happened, and that he still hasn't taken that post down despite me asking him to here (viewtopic.php?p=8396532#p8396532).

mustgroove continues to be quite, quite correct.

Take heed, lest you fall short of the correctness of mustgroove. After all, you wouldn't want a problematic, difficult transaction with mustgroove, nor would you want to encounter mustgroove's reproval such as demonstrated here.
