with "Start Recording Live Matrix" button selected i can also record time line an with "Record" button i can also record in Live Matrix, all with the same result.
there are also shortcuts for "Start/Stop Recording" and "Start/Stop Recording Live Matrix".

"Recording Live Matrix" is about recording the clips being launched and stopped.
Indeed that still also records live MIDI and parameter changes etc, that's intended.
