hi,

I have problem with midi recording in 9.0.33. - midi recording with virtual keyboard is OK, but with sequencer is recording not working. while in 8.7. midi recording works without problems (sequencer + event recorder + synth within one rack), in the same configuration 9.0.33 does not working. is this issue only in my configuration or am I wrong?

Doublechecked MIDI recording, works fine as expected here.

Do you hear the synth when playing your MIDI keyboard?
Do you hear the countdown when starting recording?

hi,

yes, I am hearing the synth - with virtual keyboard is everything working as expected. I can hearing countdown, the recording process is visible as normal, but nothing is recorded. I don't understand...

in another words: I can recording with virtual keyboard, but I can't recording with sequencer (I have tried more sequencers, no one can be recorded...)

additional note: in mulab 8.7 (where everything is working correctly) an additional track is created for the record, while in 9.0.33 no such track is created...?

Is this in MuLab 9 App or MuLab 9 Plugin?
Does this recording issue also happen in MuLab App when you start from a new project thus when simply recording MIDI notes to Basic Synth?

it's mulab app, when I start from new project with basic synth (but it's not working with another synth too)
by the way: OS is win 8.1

So with the default factory "New Project" = the one with Basic Synth, then when you start recording and click the on screen keyboard at the top right then it does record that but when playing your MIDI keyboard at the same time you also hear your MIDI playing Basic Synth but it does not record that, is that what you are experiencing?

Hi,

this is correct - with both virtual keyboards ( at the top right or Project-virtual MIDI keyboard) I can make records in New (default factory "New Project" = the one with Basic Synth, even without or with event recorder), but with sequencer not.

this means: with both keyboards I can recording, but recording midi from sequencer (without keyboard) is not possible.

what amazed me: it is not necessary to insert the event recorder module in the rack for recording, I thought it is always necessary. however, without looking at whether I insert the event recorder into the rack or not, recording midi from the sequencer does not work

No you don't need to insert an Event Recorder to record events into the composer.

Just click record.

hi,

I have seen this links, but this was not the cause.

BUT: now I have this - I have to put the event recorder and doubleclicking on this - event recorder is opening and I have extra to klick on Record Arm - NOW recording works

))!
In earlier versions this was not necessary....?
