When I’m in Preset Browser pop-up my spacebar doesn’t work for Play/Stop.
I’ve trying enabling and disabling keyboard input in Settings with no luck.
Ableton 11.1 (native silicon mode)
Mac Mini M1 11.6

That cannot be solved sorry. If the DAW ignores it, then it ignores it. Also note that the "forwarding to daw" only works if the active control does NOT use the key, so for example if the selected control is preset name or something, it won't send it to the daw, since it uses it itself.

Is the ‘forwarding to daw’ check box still available in Settings Menu?
In the PDF guide the Settings Menu is described as:
“
- Enable keyboard input
- Forward unused keyboard input to DAW
- Collapse plugin toolbar
“
But I can’t find that option. My Settings window only shows:
“
- Enable keyboard input
- Collapse plugin toolbar
“

Settings/Global System Settings/Forward unused keyboard input to DAW is here on Windows 11/MCabinet 15.02.

Interesting. For some reason that option isn’t listed for me. I’m running the latest version of everything (complete bundle).
I haven’t checked every plug-in Settings Menu but MXXX, Mdynamics, Mautodynamiceq, Mwobbler, Mrecord and Mturbocompmb are missing it.
Everything else in Menu looks exactly like the PDF guide otherwise.

Hmm, yea I have the option in MXXX as well. Are you by chance trying to open an old preset? I'm not sure that would make a difference. I see you're on macOS though so maybe that has something to do with it. You probably don't want to clean up and reinstall everything so I'd say contact support.

I was just about to post the same issue. There is no forward to DAW option for me either. Again, MacOS.

I think Vojtech mentioned that it's not available for macOS.

Correct. There doesn't seem to be a functional way to forward these things and Apple said "I shouldn't", classic

Are there any known workarounds to this problem yet? I like to start and stop the transport many times when mixing and sound designing, as well as saving my project file - I would die for any way to do that with melda's pop up windows open, as its dealbreaking for me sometimes. It happens on every daw on MacOS it seems, and it just feels really awkward to use.
Now be aware that I have absolutely no idea what I'm talking about in the following paragraph buuuuuuuut...
Maybe it could be useful to have a option to allow the pop up windows to use MacOS's native windowing capabilities? Plugins that do that have no issue with keyboard stealing (Izotope's products for example). It also would allow for the way they float on top and interact with other windows to remain consistent with the rest of the OS (not disappearring behind the main plugin window). Bitwig has moved recently to doing a similar thing with it's pop up windows and it feels much smoother.
Again I understand that developing for MacOS is an absolute nightmare in the first place so I'm just sharing my thoughts as to what I'd find ideal as a consumer rather than a developer hahah
