I have an instance of Waveform multi sampler open and pinned. I search the browser, select a sample, click, drag, and the multi sampler GUI disappeares before I can drop the file :?: :?: :?: :?:
Processor AMD PRO A10-8750B R7, 12 Compute Cores 4C+8G 3.60 GHz
Installed RAM 32.0 GB (30.9 GB usable)
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

Yeah, that's something that I have also noticed. Plugin GUIs disappear, at least momentarily, in some contexts. Seems to happen often on the second selection of an item in the browser. It comes back again when I click in the central area (tracks and plugins).

Surely there must be consensus by now...

I have noticed this also. I can recreate it by opening a plugin then creating a MIDI clip and as I enter MIDI notes into the clip the plugin editor disappears.

It comes back again when I click in the central area (tracks and plugins)
I noticed this about it also which makes me wonder if this is intentional to hide the GUI and show it when it is appropriate? If that is the case would be nice if it could be disabled.
