Mmorph vst3 seems to be wired incorrectly.

Well, it took me a while to figure it out, but Mmorph VST3 is not receiving the side chain signal in latest reaper and windows 10. You need to use the VST version (which works as expected). I'm leaving this here to keep others from pulling out their hair.

Reaper is having trouble with Native Instruments' VST3 as well. Might be a reaper issue.

meh, i think it's how melda vst3 plugs handle ins and outs. I opened the plug in plogue bidule so you can see the ins and outs. There is no "default" for the melda vst3... and all my other plugs have a "default". I also opened several other vst3 melda plugs in reaper, and they were unable to accept sidechain as well. I tried setting side chain to tracks 5/6 as well... same result. I doesn't "look" like melda plugs are wired to accept side chain from reapers perspective.

I just checked, it works perfectly fine for me running latest Reaper, Win10, VST3 MMorph... same as always.
I usually have my two tracks inside of a four channel folder track which contains the morph. One of the child tracks is set to output to 3/4. Then in the MMorph open the channel Plugin Connector and wire 3/4 to sidechain 1/2. Again, this is how I always work with this and it's working fine with me. I see they've changed some stuff in Reaper to do with channels and plugins, but it didn't cause me any problems.

so you have a third track open, and sending tracks 1/2 and 3/4 to morph separately (as sends). with the vst i can insert morph behind the instrument on 1/2 and sidechain 3/4. I am unable to do that with the vst3. I'll play around with what you say, but it seems like twice the work tbh. Thanks for the reply.

No, I don't use sends, I put them in a folder track; so the parent of both tracks is the folder track.

Had another go at this, doing it the "folder" way. Just to see if I could figure it out. So, if I set up a folder with two child tracks, and set one "child" track out to 3/4, and then open the plugin pin connector.
I can side chain the 3/4 out to (sidechain 1/2)..... I was expecting it to be on (sidechain 3/4)....
I don't know if this is a reaper thing, or a melda thing, but when I open mmorph in plogue with 4 ins and 2 outs I get two sets of ins (stereo), and two sets of sidechains (stereo).
when I try plugging a second instrument into the second set of sidechain in plogue (effectively 3/4), I get no signal in.

The side chain and main inputs are completely different and separate systems. Just use side chain 1/2.

For anyone ever wondering, this exact same thing happens in Ableton live it seems. The AU side chain doesn't work, but the VST side chain does. For unknown reasons. Just letting anyone know if they're searching for it, they might save time and see this. And Melda might fix it so their AU's work too... because they do from most other companies. Cheers

I too was struggling with this.
The VST3 works fine in Reaper, it's just not very intuitive to set up.
You need to send inputs to channels 1/2 and 3/4, then rewire plugin to use sidechain for channels 3/4 instead of main input channels (which is the default).
