I had something for a while where the signal was getting some distortion during the crossover processing, but changed some of the modules settings and now it's fine. Now I am using
Level Slope: 100%
Transient Release: 60ms
Transient Resolution: 5.0 ms
Smoothing: 50%
Spectral Resolution: 25%
Tone: 0.0 dB
And have the detection Crossover point at 80%.
This seems to work really cleanly for me, before there seemed to be an odd harmonic tone no matter what I did.

I've been looking for a transient designer plugin, and just found out about SplitEQ. Does anyone know if this can replace a traditional transient designer (like SPL Transient designer, Softube Transient shaper, etc.)? Or is it still worth having both transient designer + SplitEQ together?

...I can't seem to get the "solo" feature to work, am I missing something?.../s~

Not sure on the progress of this one (too many pages to read) but I figured out a way to turn dynamicEQ (inside mxxx) into a transient eq where you can use just a single instance to control both the transient and sustain from one eq window.
Lane 1 transient set to output the attack only.
Lane 2 math set to subtract. Taking input from lane 1 (transient) and sidechain from lane 2 (input).
Here you now have 2 lanes that make up the original signal with attack in lane 1 and sustain in lane 2. Next merge the 2 lanes using L&R to LR.
Now you have a single input for MDynamicEQ.
Inside the EQ (in band settings) left will be attack and right will be sustain.

Indeed, the Solo band function on the easy screen seems to have no effect.
Not sure how to fix that, as I don't even know how to edit the easy screen
But a problem I WAS able to fix, is being able to solo transient and tonal separately.
If anyone is interested, just hit "Edit" and double click the mixer to disable it.
Now you should be able to switch off the transient lane and listen to just "Tonal", which will allow you to better fine tune the smoothing, to avoid clicks and pops.
Easy screen is really nicely done though! Just wish I knew how to edit it, haha
Thanks to Tagirijus and Darkstar for making this happen! I was actually building my own, using the EQ built into Mconvolution mb (no mxxx needed), but this way is much more effective.
But yeah... the band solo on the easy page, doesn't seem to do anything

Actually, looking at what you did there with math subtract and stuff, would it be possible to create a "Delta" function for all Melda fx, just like the Delta in TDR comps works?
If we had a way to solo just the modified sound, that would actually be some next level awesomeness

A phase inverted dry track in parallel would do it. You could add a utility module to a new lane and use it to accomplish the phase inversion. Enable it for delta solo and disable it for normal operation. That's one way to do it.

Well ok! This is a feature that I would love to have in all comps and saturators, so I'm gonna give this a go at some point and see if works as intended.
Sheesh... actually, I guess I could do this in FL's Patcher, and then everything can have Delta mode
