Reproducing the voicing of Cherry Audio's Eight Voice in MSF

I'm toying with the idea of making something akin to the CA Eight Voice in MSF. I got started with nailing four oscillators voicing (each pressed key trigger the next oscillator in line), by using a RatioMulti and modulated it with "Counter 4" modulation.

So, with six lanes and Counters modulators with the ranges 4/8/16 I don't see a way to make an Eight Voice, as the lanes can only hold six oscillators. And I have no idea as how to expand on it if using Modular in the lanes.

Are you seeing how it could be done?

Preset code is a basic 4 voice test.

Put 2 "Modular" modules in the main grid, then put 4 Oscillators into each of those.
DarkStar, ... Interesting, if true

Yes it seems obvious enough, but then I can't connect all eight oscillators to the same RatioMulti, and thus can't cycle through all eight as I can with four in one lane window (as per my preset example).

Is there a way to get eight oscillator outputs/connectors from within two "Modulars" back to the primary six lane window, into the same RatioMulti?

Try using 2 modulars. 4 OSCs in the first and 4 in the second (as Darkstar mentioned), let's call the OSCs 1, 2, 3 and 4 and the modulars A and B.
Set the multi ratio for the 4 OSCs using the counter 4 mod source (just like you already described above) do this for both A and B.
Now use a final ratio merging A and B and set this to mod source "flip flop 4"
Now you should get voices:
1A, 2A, 3A, 4A, 1B, 2B, 3B, 4B

Hmmm. It might work, if the flip flop acts like you describe (I just haven't used them yet myself). I'll try it out. Thanks a bunch!

Hey! You were spot on, and it works like a charm. Thanks! :tu:

Or cough up the sale price of $19 and get the actual Cherry Audio 8 voice.

Lol. I coughed and I have it, which was the reason I got interested in maybe do something more in MSF that built on that particular voicing. :)

Looking forward to trying it out.
