I did some presets for Strings and yes we know the issue related to the CPU consumption.. But I want to say, it's not a simple sample based like Kontakt, you got multiple engine from pigments, it works very well but yeah, your CPU need to be on steroid xD

Interesting plugin and with a "larger than life" reverb like the Blackhole very interesting also for ambient or generally as a pad. I like the sound!
Yeah, but the CPU consumption is pretty heavy. If I have understood it correctly, a sound consists of up to four layers? "Intro" suggests that there will also be a full version where you can edit the layers (V-Collection 9

).

If the future of Arturia software is in big sample based stuff, they really need to expand / reorganise their server capabilities.
It has never been great when their new software is just announced, but this seems impossible to download.

Yes correct. That could be 2 Granular and 2 samples, or lots of combinations. The word "Rompler" has come up, that's laughable - it's so much more! It's got a full and complex synth engine. The "intro" version is not the whole story, just wait to see what's coming.

Exactly! Example: a real, multi-sampled, velocity layered, string ensemble with round robins blended with a Granular synth sound and morphing with macros - that's going to have a larger CPU hit of course.

When we talk about wavetable, granular, VA and multi-samples and additional harmonics, the whole thing is definitely much more complex than it looks. This seems to be basically the Pigments Engine but somewhat simplified or adapted for strings.
