Everyone is most welcome, it seemed the least we could do! Apologies that I haven't posted until now. I've been a quiet KVR member for years and I was a little slow picking up on this month's OSC (we've been busy!). The original MG-1 was the synth I always wanted as a kid (but never got) and this was the synth that first put Cherry Audio on my radar, before I joined the team. We truly are very excited to see what everyone comes up with. Special thanks to Richard for helping me get this together and getting the message through.

OSC Rules

Submissions:

- Submissions uploaded to SoundCloud only. File format is any supported by SoundCloud. Submissions must be downloadable.

- Soundcloud file-name format: Artist - Track Title where artist name is the same as KVR nick.

- Soundcloud entry MUST have downloads enabled.

- Submissions must be announced in the submissions forum thread with a link to the song's soundcloud, and include a brief report how it was made:- The DAW/host, all FX used, and how many instances of the synth and FX was used.

I already own and use the DCO-106, but I never tested the MG-1 plus. That's a great soft synth.

Sorry for my previous post. I redo my track only with MG-1 plus for percussions too, this is it:

I use Logic Pro X, the project has 11 instances of MG-1, I add reverb and delay from Logic Pro stock plugins. Synth and drums are MG-1.

I use Logic Pro X, the project has 5 instances of MG-1, I add reverb and delay from Logic Pro stock plugins. Drums from the Logic Pro drums set.

Sorry to spoil the fun, but use of sound sources other than MG-1 is not allowed. That very much includes the use of drums. You'll have to redo those using MG-1. Please head over to the rulepage (https://sites.google.com/site/kvrosc/rules) for all rules involved. Good luck !

Also, remember to read the rules carefully. ALL sounds from the synth including percussion! No or very limited use of modulating FX (e.g. chorus, distortion)
