Well, considering two out of three lived for feeding off of reggae,no surprises
I know nothing about the third but if they sound like the other two

It goes like this
In the 60's and early seventies rock fed off of black blues artists
Then they transitioned to feeding off of black reggae artists for the rest of the 70's and into the 80's until nu metal etc had started feeding on rap/hip hop for the 90's

As an old Die Krupps fan (25+ years ago), I was thinking Rammstein (when they came around) were copycats, and that Die Krupps deserved higher acknowledgement. Then also Raubtier arrived.

I was apparently not the only one hearing the same similarities.

"Come on Eileen" and "Our House," for some reason.

On the way to work, Pat Benatar's "Shadows of the Night" was on the radio:

During the chorus, when the fourth line came in, I kept singing, "Be my little baby." And I kept thinking, why is it missing from this song. At work, I investigated and realized I had the wrong song. "Be my little baby" is a line in Eddie Money's "Take Me Home Tonight":

I'm not sure this one makes sense.

Most of mine come hearing the radio from a far off room and thinking what I'm hearing is something else.
I'm not familiar with Eddie Money. I had a listen to a few of his tracks and thought his band's compositions were in a similar vein to Pat Benatar.

I could hear similar chord phrasing with
Eddie Money - I Wanna Go Back
and
Benatar's - Hit Me With Your Best Shot
