Hi all. I've been using Waveform 11 Free for some time now and made the decision to switch to Waveform 12 Pro yesterday. However, I've run into an issue that's really weird and confusing: when I record any audio, there's a random amount of silence that is placed between the beginning of the track and when the actual recording begins, but the track cuts off where the marker is when I press spacebar to end the recording, so I have to extend the section of the track to find the actual recorded section. To reiterate, there's a bunch of silence where there should be sound, and to find the sound, I have to extend the recorded track beyond where I stopped recording to find the actual recorded bit. (I know it's a confusing explanation, but that's the best I think I can explain. Let me know if I need to clarify any of that)
While I understand I can work around this problem by just cutting down the audio to where the recording begins, you can imagine it's very annoying and I would like to find a remedy. I'm using an SSL 2+ (in both Windows Audio mode and ASIO mode, to no avail) on Windows 10 with Waveform 12 Pro 12.0.53, if that helps at all.
Thanks for any and all help!

Try upgrading to version 12.0.54 . A lot of people have been having the same bug as you describe. If I remember correctly it is triggered when you are using a different project samplerate other than 44100hz . Version 12.0.54 can be found in your individual installers section of your downloads [ see the Beta link to the top right ] and although the latest version is still classified as a Beta it seems stable.
I guess you could also try switching your samplerate 1st to see if this helps.
