Oops! I misread the manual. I thought the space after the word DETECTOR showed the frequency detected by the detector, but the word is just a label for the controls. I am now using Mtuner to get the frequency.

Glad you got it sorted. FWIW, I rarely read the manuals. The reason is that I find that a lot of information is repeated and it's hard to find the answers I'm seeking. My approach has mainly been to click the question marks on the GUIs and watch any melda-produced videos. That's not to say I don't get confused - you can see how much I post my bewilderment here - but it's working for me overall. Cheers.
