First of all I love the plug in and use it everyday.
Request are as follow:
First, can we please get a an amount knob that controls the curve instead of the range knob with scales the GUI on the left side?
Second, it you be awesome to see the smoothness knob affect the resulting eq curve in realtime with out having to hit the equalize "green to red or viseversa" button each time.
Third, some way to control the gain of the recorded curve would be awesome to align them to be able to control how much positive vs negative gain should be applied.
Hope this request are possible and sensible.
Best regards

Hi,
1- I'm afraid no, it would directly collide with the current design.
2- Same thing I'm afraid.
3- I'm afraid I quite don't understand this one.

Something along the lines of this functionality seem the way to go to make it work as seamless as possible

The top one seems like an analog-style exponential curve; or whatever it's called - non-constant-Q. The second one is pretty much dry/wet. All you would have to do is exaggerate your curves when creating them then use dry wet to control the amount. In fact, you could set the dry/wet to 50% by default (create preset/set default settings), create your curves and then turn it to 100% wet for what Match EQ calls 200%. I just tried it and it's the same thing by a different name.
By the way, how did you create those gifs? I feel like I always need to open up a big editor to do video edits. Thanks and good luck.

The problem I have is that in order to smooth the Eq match curve on Melda you have re apply the equalize button each time, as in logic one you can do it in realtime with is really hard to do in order to get the right amount.Hexspa wrote: Mon Apr 18, 2022 11:18 am The top one seems like an analog-style exponential curve; or whatever it's called - non-constant-Q. The other thing is that in Melda the range (amount) knob scales the window not the curve, which I find not that intuitive.

Another cool future would be to have Fade handles on each side of the spectrum to control the maximum and minimum frequency that the match eq is applied
I know there is one Option on the settings area but I also find this really unintuitive, a visual representation that you can adjust in realtime would be ideal, plus if it would fade to "0db" instead of just holding the nearest value would be better.
This Is how the fades should work:

Giphy Capture App it's free, the only downside to posting them here is you got to make them really short.Hexspa wrote: Tue Apr 19, 2022 10:38 pm I like your ideas. Can you please tell me how to make these gifs?![]()
