Time Signature change... how?

Whats the method of changing time signature, tempo etc?
I ran into a tempo change and i have no idea how i did it... lemme know

Look at the very top of the screen, right over the tracks. There should be a red/long rectangle looking thing. Left click and you should get a couple of prompt choices.
From there you should be ok
