DrivenByMoss: Bitwig extension for many hardware controllers (version 26.6.1)

Bitwig 4.2
Moss 16.2
Im trying to use the maschine mk3 and APC 40 together. The only solution i've found so far is to pin the first track trough Studio IO from your video. The minor problem then is that i cant select that track with the hardware. A bigger issue is that the maschine MK3 pattern mode gets stuck to the first pinned track so i can only record/enable clips on the first track regardless of which track i arm or select. Could you look into this? Its quite a big limitation.
Update. MAschine mk3
If you are on the grid where you are pinned record will only work on pinned track/channel.
If you press up on the knob and select the next 8x grid recording does work as long there is no clips on the selected channel.
When on next 8x grid populated clips will not show on the MK3 pads. Recording on the channel if there are clips it will not work.
The Apc 40 on pinned mode will work correctly as far as i can see
Thanks!

Hoping this problem went away? (Just about to buy an M1 Pro Macbook!)thetechnobear wrote: Sun Dec 13, 2020 2:42 pm anyone else using apple silicon yet? (mac mini M1)
Im running BWS 3.3 with latest DrivenByMoss connected to my Push2.
Im getting some wierd behaviour where the pads and buttons are not lighting up correctl (the display works perfectly)
the same combo on my MBP/Intel (albeit on Mojave not BigSur) works fine.
perhaps an issue with bitwig on apple silicon, so I'll report to Bitwig...
(and here it may just be more of a 'heads up')
note: Ableton Push 2 / Live 11 Beta on M1 seems to be working absolutely flawlessly.

Feature request for Maschine MK3
Would it be possible add a double click to arm tracks so you dont have to hold record and press the track? Then show it in red instead of the track color. Preferably something you could toggle.
It would make live looping a whole lot easier. Is that something i could do myself?

I probably miss something, but with Push 2 (with your script from Moss) how to record a clip with pre-roll on Launcher clip ?

Thanks for the very useful extension.
I am using LaunchKey mini mk3 and I have a concern.
When switching scene, cursor moves twice.
Normally It is not a problem, but when I switch lower pad to stop clips, etc., I can only operate odd-numbered scenes.
Is it possible to change this?

Hey Moss,
Great script, still learning everything it does.
I thought the following idea might be useful in a future update. Would it be possible to have the selected track meter be visible when changing device parameters on push2?
For example, in Bitwig there are meters before and after each device on a track. Would you be able to take those meters and display them on the Banks page? Have the input meter shown to the left and output meter shown to the right edge of the display. That way users can keep track on the level changes while tweaking knobs for gain staging and visual reference when navigating through different device pages on push, without have to look at the computer screen or exit to mix and back.

That it appears to be stuck is how the pin works. I didn't get the issue with the Maschine, could you give a step-by-step description? Or maybe a video?Trigen wrote: Wed Apr 13, 2022 8:45 am Bitwig 4.2

I think the button combination is safer than a double click. You can still operate it with one hand (thumb on REC, index finger to select the track).Trigen wrote: Sat Apr 16, 2022 8:59 pm Feature request for Maschine MK3

Yes, it is possible. Not fully sure about it since it might also be confusing but I will change it.flyingbaron wrote: Thu Apr 21, 2022 1:23 pm Thanks for the very useful extension.

I am using Bitwig 4.1.6 on Apple M1 (BigSur 11.6.5) with Push 2, I haven't noticed any problems like this. Maybe check Bitwig/DrivenbyMoss changelogs to see if there were problems fixed after v3.3

Hi Moss, yes I was thinking after I wrote that question it was probably not a feature of the SPI yet. Maybe in a future update, it would be a good bit of information to have on the screen I thinkmoss wrote: Sun Apr 24, 2022 4:34 pmInteresting idea but this information is not available.spanky69 wrote: Sat Apr 23, 2022 11:51 am Hey Moss,

Hi, the "Grid" button on my Maschine Jam is supposed to quantize the selected clip, but it's not happening for me -- it says "Play Position" in Bitwig when I press it. Thanks for help.

Thanks for reporting, seems something got mixed up. Will be fixed in the next update!ThePresetProject wrote: Wed Apr 27, 2022 11:47 pm Hi, the "Grid" button on my Maschine Jam is supposed to quantize the selected clip, but it's not happening for me -- it says "Play Position" in Bitwig when I press it.
