there is no info about T2 until there is made an official announcement by Ben Olswang.
And judging by his latest official post about T2 this is at least weeks away.

ditto. you guys are taking it so seriously that it's almost impossible to take you seriously. i would imagine that you take umbridge at the fact that your time spent putting on your suit and tie to browse the forum has also been wasted.

by talking about people getting so serious about a joke, it makes them look ridiculous. I can see why it might look that way, but i think its a misconception.
For me, this isn't something to cry or loose sleep about i like to discuss things. Thinking about this disagreement provides an interesting break from some mind numbing database work i'm doing at the moment.
Maybe you interpret my posts as getting 'serious' about it because i keep posting back. That's just because i have points that i don't think have been answered in a satisfactory way.
Heres what i think:
I think it's in the interest of the users of this forum (and tracktion itself to a degree) if non factual posts are prefixed with [OT].
I know this would mean that the hoax posts wouldn't work. Which is a shame for some, but it looks like the majority would be glad.
This doesn't preclude the possibility of general nonsense in-jokes and chat (which are necessary/inevitable in any lively community).. it just avoids unecessary irritation.
