To be fair, I wasn’t trying to suggest there was something nefarious going on. I’m just anxious and I want to see/hear Zebra3.Shiek927 wrote: Wed Apr 27, 2022 4:40 pmThere's many, many posts detailing the history of Zebra3 and why all the decisions u-he has been made. When I bought Zebra HZ, the offer that Zebra 3 would be a free update for users made me think that it was in development and probably a year or two off. Clearly that wasn’t the case. U-He’s been very busy with development, but I suspect almost none of it was going into Zebra 3, though things developed for Bazille or Hive might end up in Zebra 3. Buying HZ was probably a factor in how long it’s been put off. When you already have someone’s upgrade money, there’s not much incentive to actively develop the upgrade.
Will I make it to see the day Zebra 3 is released? Probably, but I no longer care as much. Zebra 2/HZ is fine.
When Zebra3 comes out, it's essentially have bits and pieces of practically everything that's been released over the past ten years.
To make things easier, here are links to a few of them:

I don't work for the company. I'm just trying to clarify that there was never any robberies. In short, the answer to why Zebra3 has taken so long is "life happens".
The good news it that, as said earlier in the thread, Urs is working on Z3 as we speak. As in, that's what they are actively working right now. I don't want to speak for them, but it's not abandonware and we could all be playing with the first version of Z3 in a year's time. We shall see

I know all that, and I actually purchased all the synths and effects that U-He has released since the day I purchased HZ, as well as installed every new Zebra 2 version and enjoyed it’s improvements. Still, I purchased Zebra 2 in… maybe 2005 or so, and HZ a few years after that… maybe 2008… so, we’re talking about a 15 year gap, perhaps more if it doesn’t come out next year. I don’t think it’s unreasonable to feel a bit disappointed with the overall timeline, even if it makes sense on some level.Shiek927 wrote: Wed Apr 27, 2022 4:40 pmThere's many, many posts detailing the history of Zebra3 and why all the decisions u-he has been made. Of course. I remember thinking that Z3 was around the corner back when ZebraHZ was first released. It's been a loooong time coming, but it looks like it might happen in the near futureI know all that, and I actually purchased all the synths and effects that U-He has released since the day I purchased HZ, as well as installed every new Zebra 2 version and enjoyed it’s improvements. Too many must-have features have piled up, it'll be a major project.
