I would. Exponential Audio Reverbs unique/good or Valhalla is as good?

Perhaps because it can sound super clean.
but they also have a 3d space i never heard before.

That’s weird for me to hear after spending my entire music career waiting for my DX plugins first to be ported to VST, then 64-bit, and then VST3. And having lots of plugins that worked on XP broken by Windows UAC and VirtualStore ever since Vista.dionenoid wrote: Thu Apr 28, 2022 6:55 pmI would. Sure I could have stayed on 32-bit Windows and a DAW that runs DX plugins, but I wanted the advantages of automatible VST, 64-bit, and VST3, and to be able to use plugins from this decade. Just as I want the advantage of Mac OS and Apple Silicon now. But I could have stayed on an Intel Mac and High Sierra, too, just as well.
One plugin I rely on in every project is Virtual Sound Stage 2. It hasn’t been updated since 2012, but it runs just fine as an AU plugin in native AS Studio One. Though I still would prefer it if there was a native AS VST3 version.
THIS MUSIC HAS BEEN MIXED TO BE PLAYED LOUD SO TURN IT UP

Instead of waiting you could of course just have converted them to VST and still use these 20+ years old plugins happily today (even in a 64bit host) - but more to the point:jamcat wrote: Thu Apr 28, 2022 7:29 pm

Are you really comparing potential issues that may arise due to new plugin-formats to a OS that constantly keeps breaking stuff all by itself and on its own? That is completely absurd! Only a brain-washed Apple follower can come up with nonsense like this, so you're busted wide open pal!

Fese this is a reminder if you haven't found a solution yet, now is the time to demo cinematic rooms..zvenx wrote: Tue Apr 19, 2022 9:39 pmHi,... it is one you don't havefese wrote: Tue Apr 19, 2022 6:45 pmWhich liquidsonics plugin would you use as a replacement for Phoenix? For me that is is the EA reverb that is really unique in how clear and uncolored it is, and none of the Valhalla plugins come close imho, (doesn’t mean they’re not usable).
The EA plugins are running fine so far, but I usually don’t like using abandonware.
I already have 7th heaven and Tai chi lite, great, but very different from Phoenix. Acon Verberate actually comes close, but uses more CPU..
Cinematic Rooms.. I would however strongly advise you not to try it till October/November (they go on Black Friday sale.. the only sale for the year)... Nimbus was my go to until I heard this and bought this..(I bought the Pro, but if you not going to do Film and or surround... the regular one is fine).
