That's a pain with Toontrack installs. Some of their installers allow you to choose the path while other do not. I've noticed their installers will usually place them in an existing Toontrack path that it finds. Have you tried checking where your other Toontrack installs are?

My guess just reading that: probably VST3 only and they’re following the default path. Lots of vendors are doing this these days.

Teething problems no doubt. But the first major GRRR - instead of making Tap2Find better, they've crippled it. The No Quantize option has been removed. So never mind not being able to set swing or time sigs, you now can't even PLAY a swing.

Nope. But at least you can fix that with the global time sig - it's not ideal if you're mixing sigs of course, but there's a way to do it. Unlike swing - no way to do that now.

There's definitly the option to add swing on it... Both on the grid editor and on the bandmate tab. Mixing time signatures you can't I guess.

Really impressed with the update so far. The kits sound awesome and the bandmate is impressive. Made me rethink some of my song drum parts

Just to reply to my own post: that's exactly what it was. There's no VST2 version. VST3 only. Most vendors don't allow custom VST3 folder paths, hence why there was no ask.

...but not in Tap2Find. You can't play something with a swing feel because it will automatically quantize it to something rigid, so it's butchered before you take it into the Grid or Bandmate tabs. Nobbled at source.

Urgently needs a fix.

The fact that ezdrummer 2 core library is a separate license is a nice addition as the regular installation contains both the program and the library plus you have a new separate license which you can even sell, just for the EZX.

For ezdrummer 3 this change is not so great as the main product includes only the program but not the core library which is a different license so if you'd ever want to sell ezdrummer 3 (incl. the library) it's two license transfer fees to pay.

Was thinking just that 20 minutes ago.. Haven't heard anyone complain about the speed of downloads in any of the three forums I frequent.. yet anyway.

Yup, seamless on that score.

Quite a lot of people experiencing various glitches that don't seem consistent. My EZD3 won't display the new Bright Room graphics citing a need to update, yet SD3 shows them just fine. Other people have issues not seeing certain EZXs visually, but I see those just fine. Some don't seem to be able to have the core library at all. Teething problems I guess.

I've been experimenting with the follow bandmate feature, it works in standalone fine but crashed in Ableton Lite 11.
